Cat Reportedly Sexually Assaulted Then Thrown From Fourth Floor: Demand Maximum Penalties

Target: Masri Daud, Lead Prosecutor for the Attorney General’s Chambers, Malaysia

Goal: Seek an appeal for a custodial sentence, a long disqualification from keeping animals, mandatory counseling, and the highest lawful fines after a cat was reportedly sexually abused and then thrown from a fourth-floor corridor.

Authorities reported a late-night incident in which a security guard was seen holding a cat with his trousers lowered before the animal was hurled from a fourth floor. A 48-second video was reportedly recorded and forensic testing apparently recovered cat fur on seized clothing. The cat’s suffering was described in open court as extreme. This account is shocking. It is also, as reported, evidence of deliberate cruelty.

Prosecutors stated the abuse was captured on video and a witness confronted the suspect, who then allegedly threw the cat before retreating indoors. The animal’s fall, the alleged sexual assault, and the imagery of a companion animal treated as an object are details that demand a strong response. Malaysia’s Animal Welfare Act sets serious penalties for such conduct. The public depends on consistent enforcement to deter the next attack.

A clear message is needed. Animal abuse, especially conduct reportedly involving sexual acts and a violent fall from height, should draw a sentence that reflects culpability and community harm. Demand the prosecution seek a custodial term, a lengthy ban on animal ownership, mandatory psychological evaluation and counseling, and fines at the top of the statutory range. Nothing less will adequately denounce the conduct and protect animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Lead Prosecutor Daud,

We are writing about a case in which a cat was reportedly sexually abused and then thrown from a fourth-floor corridor. As presented in court, a witness recorded a 48-second video and forensic testing purportedly found cat fur on clothing seized by authorities. These details, as reported, reveal deliberate and degrading cruelty.

We respectfully request that your office pursue an appeal seeking a custodial sentence proportionate to the gravity of the conduct, together with a lengthy disqualification from keeping animals, mandated counseling, and the highest fines available under the Animal Welfare Act. A strong, consistent penalty would deter similar acts and affirm that animals are not disposable objects.

Please act to ensure this reported cruelty is met with meaningful consequences that protect animals and reassure the public.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
