Punish Man Accused of Tying Pregnant Dog to Moving SUV and Leaving Her to Die

Target: Todd Spitzer, Orange County, CA District Attorney

Goal: Ensure appropriate punishment for the individual accused of brutally killing a pregnant dog.

The actions of Eric Lyn Holliday, who allegedly tied a pregnant dog to an SUV and drove until the animal died, demand immediate and appropriate punishment. Reports indicate that Holliday’s actions were not impulsive but a calculated plan to kill a vulnerable, defenseless animal. This act reported act, which allegedly left the dog’s neck snapped and her body discarded in an alley, underscores a grave concern for animal welfare and public safety.

Eyewitness accounts and surveillance footage detail how Holliday reportedly looped a rope around the dog’s neck before accelerating and leaving her to die. This apparent act of cruelty, particularly against a pregnant dog, showcases a potential pattern of violent behavior, especially following prior convictions and probation violations. The distress caused to those who discovered the scene is unimaginable, highlighting the need for justice not only for the animal but also for the community impacted by such heinous acts.

It is imperative that the judicial system acknowledges the severity of Holliday’s alleged actions and responds with appropriate legal consequences. The demand is clear: he must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for animal cruelty, as such violence should not be tolerated.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA Spitzer,

The case of Eric Lyn Holliday, who allegedly committed an unconscionable act of cruelty against a pregnant dog, has raised serious moral and legal questions within the community. Reports indicate that he tied the dog to his SUV and drove until the animal died, leaving her body for others to discover. The apparently calculated nature of this act exemplifies a possible ongoing threat to both animals and people, given Holliday’s history of violent behavior.

Authorities must recognize the implications of such brutality. Evidence suggests that Holliday’s actions were premeditated, indicating a disturbing mindset. He reportedly executed this act and callously abandoned the dog, who suffered tremendously. It is critical that the legal system reflects the severity of this alleged crime and ensures that adequate punishment is pursued.

We urge you to prosecute Eric Lyn Holliday to the fullest extent of the law for the alleged act of animal cruelty. Such violence against innocent creatures cannot be overlooked, and effective action is necessary to protect not only vulnerable animals but the safety of the community as a whole.

Sincerely,

  1. this sob needs to have the same thing done to him. and guess what he will not be charged with anything but a slap on the wrist because our court system could care less about animal abusers. so i vote we take this pce of shit out in the woods and tie him to a tree and pour honey on him and leave him … at least he would fill the pain he put these poor animals thru.

  2. Sandy Menden says:

Tie Eric Lyn Holliday to the back of a vehicle and drag him until he is dead!!!!!

Research shows a clear link between animal cruelty and human violence. Those who harm animals often pose a danger to people as well.

  3. This monster needs to be tied up behind a car and experience the same pain as that innocent animal. We all know the judicial system is a joke, especially when it involves animal abuse.

  4. This CANNOT be over-looked, Throw the book at this vile POS and don’t forget, Not only did he kill the pregnant dog but her UNborn Babies as well!!!!

and ALSO, make it against the law for him to even touch another animal EVRE again!!!!!

{while he’s in jail, lets hope he gets painfully welcomed by his cellmate Bubbles!
