Don’t Race Animals to Death for Entertainment

Target: Sir Francis Brooke, Chairman, Ascot Racecourse

Goal: Stop the apparent abuse of exhausted animals for entertainment at popular event.

Reports have emerged detailing the harrowing conditions faced by animals during the King George Racing Weekend at Ascot Racecourse, raising serious concerns about their welfare and treatment. Allegedly, many animals were subjected to injuries and emotional distress, with claims of inadequate veterinary care and lack of proper living conditions.

Eyewitness accounts indicate instances of animals appearing distressed and unable to compete, suggesting that their well-being was disregarded for the sake of entertainment. Allegedly, some were observed enduring excessive fatigue, while others suffered injuries without prompt medical attention, exposing them to unnecessary pain. This seeming negligence not only puts the lives of these animals at risk but also raises ethical questions about the practices in place during such events.

The ongoing suffering of animals at racing events like this one must not be overlooked or condoned. Implementing stricter regulations and holding those allegedly responsible for these inhumane conditions accountable is essential to prevent future occurrences. It is imperative that the welfare of racing animals is prioritized to ensure they are treated with the respect and care they deserve.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Chairman Brooke,

Recent reports have brought to light the profound suffering allegedly endured by animals during the King George Racing Weekend, with claims of distress and neglect that cannot go unaddressed. Eyewitness accounts have suggested that numerous animals were subjected to physical injuries and emotional turmoil while receiving inadequate care, raising serious concerns regarding the management of their welfare.

Allegedly, some animals were seen struggling to compete, suffering from exhaustion and injuries that went untreated. Such reports point to a distressing pattern of neglect, where the animals’ best interests appear to have been sacrificed for the sake of entertainment. This apparent blatant disregard for their health and well-being is both shocking and unacceptable.

We urge you to take action to ensure that appropriate measures are implemented to protect animals from harm during King George Racing Weekend. It is time to prioritize the welfare of all animals in racing environments.

Sincerely,

  1. Agree all comments. Stop this now and full punishment. No excuse for animal cruelty.

  2. Maria Lavorato says:

This is extreme animal cruelty whereby scums of the earth profit on the suffering of animals. Animals if asked would never say yes to any of this!

This needs to be abolished worldwide! Ban them all and all those who watch as well. There needs to be legal consequences in all cases!

  3. The low life maggots who gamble on the health, safety and lives of innocent and beautiful dogs are the ones who need to perish. Hopefully this barbaric and totally pathetic pastime Will soon be banned all around the world and anyone involved in this sickening game Will get treatment for their mental problems and ugly gambling addictions or go to prison for treatment.
