I agree that given the laxity of the law one wishes for vigilantism, but it amounts to more lawlessness. I do wish, though, that the full names and mugshots of animal cruelty perps would be published with petitions as this one … heck! I wish they were plastered on public transportation, veterinary clinics, everywhere! If we had justice, punishment for crimes against helpless humans (children, handicapped, etc.) and nonhumans would be judged and punished with equal severity!

My thoughts exactly. What kind of owners hands over a pet and never checks on it for months.
