Target: The Rt Hon Suella Braverman MP, UK Home Secretary
Goal: Combat online animal cruelty networks and prevent the torture of animals for entertainment.
Two women have been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to sharing obscene images and videos of monkey torture in online groups. The disturbing case unveiled a global network where individuals encouraged and participated in the abuse of monkeys, raising serious concerns about the effectiveness of current laws in preventing animal cruelty facilitated through the internet.
The women were members of private online chat groups that promoted the torture of animals, demonstrating a blatant disregard for the well-being of sentient creatures. This case highlights the urgent need for stronger legislation and enforcement mechanisms to combat animal cruelty, especially in the digital realm where such activities can proliferate unchecked.
Animal welfare organizations and advocates are calling for immediate action to strengthen laws that address online platforms used to promote and disseminate animal abuse. Enhanced cooperation between law enforcement agencies and stricter penalties for offenders are essential to deter such inhumane activities.
By taking decisive action, authorities can help protect animals from cruelty and those who engage in or facilitate such acts are held accountable. Provide law enforcement with the necessary tools to combat these heinous crimes effectively.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear Home Secretary Suella Braverman,
I am writing to express deep concern over the recent case where two women were jailed for their involvement in an online network promoting the torture of monkeys. This disturbing incident highlights a significant gap in our current legislation regarding animal cruelty facilitated through digital platforms.
The existence of such online groups demonstrates that individuals are able to encourage and participate in animal abuse with relative impunity, exploiting the anonymity and reach of the internet. This not only results in unimaginable suffering for the animals involved but also reflects a broader societal issue that requires urgent attention.
I urge you to take immediate action to strengthen laws and enforcement mechanisms against online animal cruelty networks. This includes implementing stricter penalties for those who participate in or facilitate such acts, enhancing monitoring of online platforms, and promoting international cooperation to tackle these global networks.
By addressing this issue decisively, you will help protect innocent animals from horrific abuse and send a clear message that such cruelty has no place in our society.
Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]

Don’t give these sick people a couple of months in jail. Where is the ANIMALS CRUELTY LAW? Slam the book at them. If not they will do it again and again. KILLING innocent monkeys.
UK!!!! who are these bitches?
Cut the bloody uterus out
Disgusting women
Wonder what their childhood was like????
I hope the Law punishes them severely
Stricter laws, penalties and education. These are wonderful tools to use. it is so sad and disheartening that some of the human population have this need or want to do this sorted graphic activity.
If people use torturing animals for viewing entertainment, is there really any law or penalty that would deter them from stopping? Are family members aware of what a loved one is doing?
I know this has to stop. But as long as people view it or see it advertised , this heinous act will continue.
