We are not ”owners” we are family. Dogs are family. Ownership refers to an object or a thing. Just another comment about dogs and all other animals they are not ”its” they are male and female. I have studied both the anatomy of humans and animals, and the similarities are the same. That lowlife should go to jail for life. If he had murdered his girlfriend, he would go to jail for life. I say this over and over that they need to change the law regarding the murders of innocent dogs and other animals. I belong to animals’ groups, and we are trying to change the law for all animals. We need stronger enforcement of protection orders and much stronger penalties for animal abuse.

I assume the accused would have done exactly the same to a child (if his unfortunate girlfriend had one). But no doubt he will get a bleeding-heart lawyer to please “diminished responsibility” because he was high on narcotics – like THAT is a justifiable excuse.
