Authorities have charged Ellisha Krutuleski, the owner and founder of the sanctuary, with six counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and one count of cruelty to animals. Following the closure of the sanctuary, five dogs were reportedly rescued and taken to SPCA of Hancock County, where they are currently recovering from malnutrition and other health issues.
The staff at SPCA of Hancock County, along with behavioral specialists, are working tirelessly to rehabilitate these dogs, ensuring they receive the care and support they desperately need. However, the severity of this case demands justice for the animals that suffered under the reported neglect.

An animal shelter abused animals! Can it get any worse? This is a business that the woman in question ran for a while. It needs to be closed now and she must pay for the medical costs for care to all the dogs involved. She must also pay for any costs to insure these dogs live their lives as fully as possible.
Remember these are tragic incidents which did not have to happen. This is a shame but it must be fully recognized. All the people involved need to have a life long ban placed on them so as not to own, work with, or be near animals again. It’s the animals which suffer, not the people. All people involved need this restraint placed on them for the rest of their lives.
