In a distressing incident of animal cruelty, a seven-year-old community dog named PK was allegedly pepper sprayed in the eyes near Bunts Hostel Circle, Mangaluru in India’s Karnataka state. Known for his friendly nature, PK has been a beloved figure in the area for the past seven months. On Wednesday, he was seen running frantically, unable to open his eyes and colliding with vehicles and walls.
Animal rescuer Tauseef Ahmed, who regularly feeds PK, received a video showing the dog’s distress and rushed to the scene. A kind neighbor initially washed PK’s eyes, and upon Ahmed’s arrival, eye drops were administered to alleviate his discomfort. PK was also given an analgesic to reduce inflammation and pain. Meha, who reported the incident, will continue administering the eye drops for the next few days.
This act of cruelty not only harmed PK but also endangered the lives of people in the vicinity, as the distressed dog could have caused an accident. Such behavior is unacceptable. Ensure that those responsible are held accountable under the law.

Such a lovely thing to do to a dog who is welcoming to people. This is probably a man or kid who is a bully and wanted to have some fun at the expense of an innocent. Although I am glad PK is fine and in goods hands presently while he is healing. But I hope you find the bastard who did this. He is in need of mental hospitalization. Maybe for life?
I wish you could and would spray the criminals eyes as he did to this dog. Then allow him to feel the same pain as the dog and for the same amount of time. He must feel the suffering he gave to an innocent dog. Do not have him see a doctor until he has had the same amount of pain and suffering as his victim. This creep can not run into traffic but must feel the pain he gave. He deserves no less!
INDIA again, say no more, this country is at the bottom of the cess-pit for cruelty, brutality, depravity and heinous atrocities being carried out day after day after day. Shame on INDIA.
WTF – INDIA ONCE AGAIN!!! Just this morning, this is the THIRD petition I’m signing!!! One was bestiality to an animal, the other was 6 puppies were brutally killed and now this one!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PEOPLE!!!
Why would he do that to a beloved dog? Obviously this wicked jerk needs a physical punishment by a cane in jail or in public. Anyone who abuses an innocent life, be it human or animal deserves to be flogged!
