Ensure Justice for Dog Allegedly Thrown from Balcony

Target: Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan

Goal: Ensure justice for the dog reportedly thrown from a balcony and modify laws to prevent future incidents.

In a disturbing incident that has captured the attention of social media, a dog was allegedly thrown from a balcony in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area. This act of alleged cruelty has triggered widespread outrage and calls for more stringent legislation and tougher punishments for those who allegedly abuse animals. The video reportedly showing the dog being tossed off the balcony highlights the urgent need for legal action.

This alleged incident is not an isolated case but part of a broader problem of animal cruelty in Pakistan. Political rallies reportedly use animals as party favors, exposing them to traumatizing interactions with the public. Additionally, animals like donkeys, horses, and mules are reportedly overworked, underfed, and beaten by their owners. The poor welfare standards in Pakistani zoos further exemplify the widespread neglect and abuse of animals.

The existing animal rights law in Pakistan, the ‘Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1890,’ is antiquated and inadequately enforced. This outdated law fails to address the modern understanding of animal welfare. There is a pressing need for updated legislation that recognizes animals as sentient beings capable of experiencing pain and suffering. Ensure justice for the dog reportedly thrown from the balcony and enact laws to prevent such cruelty in the future.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear PM Sharif,

We are writing to you regarding an incident that has occurred in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area, where a dog was reportedly thrown from a balcony. This act of apparent cruelty has sparked outrage across social media platforms, highlighting the urgent need for stricter enforcement of animal protection laws.

Animal cruelty in Pakistan is a significant issue, with numerous cases reportedly going unnoticed due to societal indifference and inadequate legislation. From animals used in political rallies to the reported mistreatment of working animals and the poor conditions in zoos, the scale of the problem is immense. The existing ‘Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1890’ is outdated and fails to address these modern issues effectively.

We urge you to take immediate action to strengthen animal protection laws and ensure that those allegedly responsible for such cruel acts are held accountable. Stricter penalties and more robust enforcement mechanisms are necessary to prevent future incidents and to ensure justice for the animals reportedly subjected to abuse.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

Nobody is above the law. All lives matter, please step up your animal welfare and cruelty laws to protect them from being hurt and abused or killed unnecessarily. Punish animal abusers severely… brand them, cane them, fine them, imprison them, give them the worst treatments possible as deterrents until they stop killing another innocent living being for fun!
