53 Dogs Reportedly Found Starving Amid Filth at ‘Rescue’ Deserve Justice

Target: William E. Sexton, District Attorney of Ocala City in Florida, USA

Goal: Enforce legal action against alleged animal cruelty.

An alarming situation has unfolded, where a person claiming to rescue dogs has been accused of heinous acts of animal cruelty. Allegedly, 53 dogs were discovered in conditions that shock the conscience, with evidence suggesting neglect and abuse at a staggering scale. This distressing case emerged from a complaint about dogs fighting, which led to a grim discovery at a residence in Ocala, appearing to reveal a scenario far beyond ordinary neglect.

Further investigation into these allegations paints a harrowing picture. It’s claimed that the majority of the dogs were inbred, living in cramped conditions, amidst overwhelming levels of waste, leading to an unspeakable environment of suffering. Among the most chilling details is an account of dogs allegedly forced into such despair that fatal outcomes ensued, including one dog reportedly found deceased in a trash receptacle. These details not only highlight the alleged neglect but also underscore a deeply troubling disregard for life and well-being.

The necessity for stringent legal intervention could not be clearer. It is imperative to ensure that justice is served, not only as a measure of retribution but as a deterrent against future atrocities. The call to action is for the authorities, specifically the County Prosecutor, to pursue the harshest penalties available under the law against those allegedly responsible for this cruelty. This demand reflects not only the gravity of the accusations but also a societal imperative to uphold the values of compassion and justice.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear DA William E. Sexton,

I write to you today, deeply troubled by a case of alleged animal cruelty that has come to light in our community. Reports indicate that a person, under the guise of operating a dog sanctuary, has subjected over fifty dogs to conditions of shocking neglect and abuse. This individual, who outwardly claimed to rescue these animals, is now facing allegations that reveal a starkly different reality. The alleged discovery of dogs living in squalor, with some inbred and others found in conditions no living being should ever endure, demands your immediate attention.

The evidence, as presented by local animal services, suggests a scenario of grave mistreatment. The alleged presence of a deceased dog among the trash and the overwhelming stench of ammonia and urine in the living quarters of these animals speaks volumes of the apparent neglect. This case not only sheds light on the dark side of what was supposed to be a sanctuary but also raises serious questions about oversight and the enforcement of animal welfare laws. The community looks to your office for a resolution that reflects the severity of these accusations.

Therefore, I urge you to take swift and decisive action in this matter. It is essential that those found responsible for such alleged cruelty face the full extent of the law. This case represents not just an isolated incident of alleged animal abuse but a test of our societal values. We must demonstrate a zero-tolerance stance on cruelty and neglect, ensuring that justice is served for the victims of this tragic scenario.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

AND WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME OF THIS CRUEL AND BARBARIC CASE? HAVE THE RESPONSIBLE HUMAN MOUNSTERS BE SENTENCED YET TO AT LEAST 10 YEARS IN A SECURITY PRISON?

  2. Disgusting hope they get jailed

No animal deserves to be a victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!! NO animal-abuser should be allowed to escape with it!!! Tormenting animals has a brutalizing effect on our society and mankind as a whole.
This satanic pathological monster must be severely punished, MAX JAIL or DEATH PENALTY! He must also be forbidden from coming near/owning animals ever again.
SET a PRECEDENT, and punish to the full extent of the law!

  4. I agree with Teresa! Nothing has been done. That looks very bad for your office. America is a land of law and order but no justice. Who’s fault is that? And what happened to the dogs? Who has them now? Do you even care? This person, or persons. need to be locked up for years. Society doesn’t want them. Society lives on laws to ensure peace. But these perverts don’t accept the laws. They simply break them. Does this case fit into animal fighting? I think it might. Since that is against the law, I wonder how your standing is if that is the case. These perverts need to pay ALL medical costs for these dogs. All rehoming costs. Your office has done nothing to assist these dogs who are the victims and yet you protect the criminals. If they are running a dog fighting ring, that is against the law, even in Florida! These criminals deserve at least 10 years in prison. And, if they can’t pay the costs for the dogs, take everything they own to pay for treatment. Take their home, bank accounts, cars, even college funds. They did the crime and now they must do the time and pay the bills! Knowing how Florida operates the poor dogs are still suffering. But the criminals aren’t! It needs to be the other way around.

  6. There needs to be a federal department that hires people who actually care, to check out all places that use the words ‘shelter’ and/or ‘rescue’. Dog licensing laws need to be stricter when there are more than two or three dogs in a home. Also most judges need to grow a pair when these ‘people’ end up in the courthouses.

Until ALL ANIMALS ‘have a voice’ nothing significant will be done to these abusers. disgraceful. Tattoo ABUSER on their forehead. The perps in this case should be left in the area where these poor animals will found and left to rot.

  8. OK now GLOBAL AUTHORITIES NOW CHECK THE ABUSERS CHILDREN AND CHILDREN AND ANIMALS IN THE AREA, ANIMAL CRUELTY AND HUMAN ABUSE OFTEN GO HAND IN HAND AND OFTEN ESCALATES TO HUMAN CRUELTY, AUTHORITIES FIND ALL THESE ABUSERS HAVE DONE, AND STOP WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO TO ANIMALS AND HUMANS!!! YOU MAY STOP A RAPIST FAMILY ABUSER OR EVEN A SERIAL, THEY ALL START SOMEWHERE AND IT IS WELL DOCUMENTED IT OFTEN STARTS WITH ANIMALS PUT ANIMAL AND HUMAN ABUSERS IN THE SAME LINE UPS FOR INVESTIGATION, AGAIN FIND WHAT THEY HAVE SONE AND STOP WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO!!!!!!!

Matthew Keel is the son of a bitch who did this! These poor dogs were in cages, living in their own waste and starving to death! I’d love for him to be beat to death over the time of a week! Damnit! Here’s the news article/video showing these poor dogs –

MAKE THIS CRUEL, ABUSIVE, & DISGUSTING ASSHOLE TO LIVE THE REST IF HIS MISERABLE LIFE LIKE ALL OF THESE INNOCENT DEFENSELESS DOGS WERE MADE TO LIVE IN!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS CRUEL, ABUSIVE,AND DISGUSTING ASSHOLE ANY KIND OF FOOD AND WATER FOR THE REST OF HIS MISERABLE LIFE BUT MAKE HIM LIVE OUT IN COLD AND HOT WITHOUT ANY SHELTER!!!!

Several violations here! Why were they able to pose as a sanctuary? ….alll the while all these
sweet dogs were suffering unimaginable agony.

William E. Sexton, District Attorney of Ocala You must charge them with every violation committed!

All involved must be charged with animal cruelty…First Degree Felonies. Dogs died in pain and anguish waiting for help that never came…. please do right by them by showing compassion by sending a clear message that these heinous. self serving acts will always be punished to the full severity of the law!

They must also be registered as animal abusers so they can never again come near other animals. Hopefully they will be killed in prison.

I PRAY THEY NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY!

  12. Blair Rochelle Sorrel says:

Some “rescuers” have control issues not compassion. What licensing prevents anyone from becoming one and setting up “shop?” Sadly intervention often occurs when it’s too late to rescue. The venues are inaccessible so “if you see something, say something.” doesn’t help the suffering or doomed critter. Such hellholes are legal but not ethical which is why the caring try to buy or steal helpless creatures confined in these dreadful circumstances. So deplorable!

  13. PEOPLE – SOME OF YOU WRITE COMMENTS AS IF YOU THINK THE OFFICIALS OR PETITION TARGETS ARE READING THEM.

JUST SO YOU KNOW, NO ONE SEES THESE COMMENTS EXCEPT OTHER PEOPLE COMMENTING.

  14. Agree all comments do the same back to them then torture them leave to die in pain. Justice now to much of this bullshit goes on and no punishment.

  15. I have to agree with what most people are saying.. your office has failed miserably and millions of dogs are dying every single moment due to your actions or lack of..
this is more of the same… nothing will ever change or happen and they will continue this cycle of violence against dogs!!! How do you sleep at night.. y the time did anything or learnt to investigate.. animals had already died and suffered…

  16. Prevention of possible hoarding of animals is the way to go these people start off thinking they can but they don’t often have money, people skills to get helpers and it gets too much and animals suffer and perish. No one should have 50 even 10 + animals without help and back up plans re feeding and minding. Across the world there is an increased love of animals but who is monitoring ? Sanctuaries etc

  17. Cynthia A Pisarcik says:

Florida law enforcement —— DO YOUR JOB !!!!!!!

This cruelty must be stopped !!!!!!! Law Enforcement must give more severe punishments to these bastards and bitches !!!!!!!!!

Do your job !!!!! Punishment needs to fit the crime !!!!!!!

  18. Chain these sick jerks up in the desert with no good, water or shelter!!!

  19. @Vincent Verse: Well done, a great improvement in your writing style and word choice compared to the last piece you wrote. Here and there a sentence was slightly “OTT”, but overall this was an article I could read without cringing for the wrong reasons. Thank you. I do hope all of us signing these petitions actually make a difference… we hardly get any updates on what the outcomes. Maybe this is something you can discuss with ‘the boss’? Thanks.

  20. Throw these disgusting monsters in prison for a very long time!! It’s all a money thing, pose as a rescue to get profit, but don’t care about the welfare of the animals! It’s sickening and reprehensible.
