Justice for Dog Allegedly Abandoned by Owner in Foreclosed House for Weeks

Target: Jack Thorp, District Attorney of Cherokee County, Georgia, US

Goal: Ensure stringent legal consequences for the individual accused of severely neglecting two dogs.

In Cherokee County, a grave and distressing incident of animal cruelty has come to light. An individual, reportedly named Jody Clifford Smith, allegedly abandoned his dog in a foreclosed house for weeks. This act of apparent neglect led to the dog enduring harrowing conditions, locked away without vital sustenance. Imagine, for a moment, the allegedly suffering endured by this defenseless animal, confined and forgotten, a victim of apparent cruelty.

Further details reveal a second dog in Smith’s care, reportedly suffering from a host of medical issues, including a severe ear infection and vision problems. Both animals were eventually surrendered to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter. These accounts paint a harrowing picture of neglect and suffering, with two innocent animals allegedly left to endure pain and distress. These allegations, if true, demonstrate a shocking disregard for the well-being of these animals, raising profound concerns about the treatment of pets under Smith’s care.

The need for justice in this case is clear. Animals, like the two dogs in this situation, deserve to be treated with compassion and care. The alleged acts of neglect and cruelty demand a firm legal response. Urge the District Attorney of Cherokee County to take decisive action. Such behavior, if proven true, should not go unpunished. Demand a thorough investigation and appropriate legal action to ensure such acts of alleged cruelty are not repeated.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Thorp,

The recent incident involving Jody Clifford Smith and his alleged severe neglect of two dogs in Cherokee County demands your immediate attention. This case, characterized by apparent inhumane treatment and suffering, calls for a thorough investigation and stringent legal action. One dog was reportedly found in a state of severe neglect, abandoned without food or water, in conditions no living being should ever endure. Another dog, under Smith’s care, allegedly suffered from various medical issues, indicative of gross negligence.

These alleged acts of cruelty represent more than just individual failings; they are indicative of a broader societal issue concerning animal welfare. When individuals allegedly fail to provide basic care and compassion to animals, it reflects a profound moral lapse that demands legal scrutiny and response. We, the undersigned, implore you to take this case with the seriousness it warrants. We advocate for the voiceless victims of this alleged cruelty, seeking justice on their behalf.

In conclusion, we respectfully demand that your office pursue this matter with the utmost diligence. We seek assurance that such alleged acts of cruelty and neglect are met with appropriate legal consequences. Our collective conscience as a community depends on the assurance that justice prevails, especially for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Jody Clifford Smith is a piece of garbage. He deserves jail time and lots of it for abandoning, torturing, starving these defenseless dogs. He is a MONSTER, that deserves to pay for his actions. His picture on the internet showed that he hasn’t been missing meals. But, he is starving animals. What a disgusting excuse of a human!

  2. Smith will reoffend, his offenses clearly show he does not care about animals and is willing to deliberately harm even his own animals; he will do it again if you let him. He needs jail and he needs a lifetime ban from animal contact.

Get this freak out of society! He doesn’t deserve to be free. He’s a disgusting pos monster who cares nothing about the welfare of innocent animals. I’m glad the dogs were rescued!
