Cows Reportedly Beaten, Struck, and Left to Suffer in the Cold Deserve Justice

Target: Lesley Griffiths, Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs, Wales

Goal: Ensure stringent legal action against those accused of cruelty at Tafarn Y Bugail dairy farm.

The distressing findings from an undercover investigation at Tafarn Y Bugail, a dairy farm in Wales, demand immediate action. Investigators reportedly documented appalling abuse including cows being struck, beaten, and left to suffer in deplorable conditions. Such alleged treatment not only breaches animal welfare standards but also the very essence of human decency.

Investigators reportedly witnessed calves being separated from their mothers within hours of birth, left in frigid temperatures. Calves were reportedly born into a world of neglect, their first experiences marred by cold and isolation. Farm workers were allegedly seen using brutal methods during calving, including using ropes to forcibly extract calves. This alleged disregard for the well-being of both mother and calf is deeply troubling.

The most shocking revelations involved cows beaten repeatedly, some 55 times in a single instance. The footage reportedly showed cows with severe lameness, struggling to walk, and dead animals left outside, a clear violation of governmental guidelines. These alleged acts not only represent severe animal cruelty but also pose a significant public health risk. The need for justice is not only for the animals’ sake but also for the integrity of our agricultural practices. Take immediate action.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Minister Lesley Griffiths,

The allegedly uncovered cruelty at Tafarn Y Bugail dairy farm in Wales requires your immediate and decisive intervention. The investigation reportedly revealed heinous acts of animal abuse that cannot be overlooked. Cows were reportedly subjected to relentless beatings, calves were neglected in cold conditions, and dead animals were improperly disposed of. These alleged actions not only violate animal welfare laws but also pose serious health risks.

The severity of the alleged abuse at Tafarn Y Bugail is deeply alarming. According to reports cows were beaten, some more than 55 times, in distressing episodes of violence. Newborn calves, vulnerable and needing care, were reportedly left in the cold, separate from their mothers. The alleged disregard for animal life and well-being at this farm is a stark reminder of the need for strict enforcement of animal welfare standards.

We urge you to take robust legal action against those responsible for the alleged cruelty at Tafarn Y Bugail. This case should not just result in penalties but also serve as a deterrent, ensuring such atrocities are not repeated. The welfare of animals and the integrity of our agricultural practices depend on your strong leadership and decisive action.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. This happens in Wales? I thought more of the people of Wales than this. To beat cows is pathetic under any circumstances. This type of action to harm should be address by beating those who beat the cows. They are seen on video. Fire them too. And the farm, if not improved quickly, should be put out of business.

  2. Alison Hunt says:

The heinous animal cruelty inflicted at Tafarn y Budail dairy farm is utterly unacceptable and must receive full force of the Law- not only to prevent further offences at this premises but to deter others from similar abuse. No farm animal should ever be treated in this inhumane and appalling manner.

  3. William Turner says:

People involved in animal farming are scum and retarded.Beat them up

  4. Bina Pannell says:

This sin’t an isolated case. It happens all over the world. Go to any farm, then go to a slaughterhouse.

Farm animals are the most abused animals in the world. Few people genuinely care for them because they exist simply to fill one’s stomach. It’s called speciesism.

Farm animals are born into captivity. dairy cows have their calves ripped away from them, because mum’s milk is for YOUR morning cereal, not their babies.
Hens are beaten and stomped on. Male chicks are thrown into large choppers.
I could go on but you get the gist?

Taking the life of an animal when it doesn’t want to die is MURDER, no matter how *humanely* it is killed. And you pay for it.

If you REALLY want to help farm animals, stop eating them.

  5. Irene Souder-Coyle says:

Why would any farmer abuse, or allow abuse of their animals. I know testing is done periodically on cows, and random inspections also take place, at least in Northern Ireland. This must be the same procedure in Wales. How thus abuse was never picked up is beyond me. Close this farm down!

    • Joyce O'Malley says:

Quit eating dairy JACproducts!! Close this farm down and prosecute the owner!! Take his business license away!!

  6. Shut all these places down

  7. For this to happen in Wales is nothing short of shocking. This dairy must be closed down

  8. goh maria says:

The animals in animal farms are regularly mistreated. They live miserable lives and they are always cold and hungry. These poor animals are capable of experiencing pain and they feel fear just like us humans. Why do humans make animals suffer so much? Is there more evil than good in the world? Is there no one powerful and strong enough to help them?
But I believe that you sir, Minister Lesley Griffiths, have the power and authority to change their lives to be better because suffering is not normal for any living being.

  9. These appalling acts of cruelty sicken me these scumbags need to be locked up and given the same treatment! Cows are very gentle loving animals that do not deserve these brutal horrific painful beatings and on top of that ripping a calf out of the mother are you kidding me the damage done to the mother is immense causing internal bleeding infections extreme pain etc and that poor baby should be immediately nursing from its mother! This shameful behaviour has got to stop no animal should ever be tortured like ever!

    • Joyce O'Malley says:

Close this dairy down – take away the farmers business license- put the cows on a safe animal retreat so they aren’t abused and killed!! QUIT EATING COW DAIRY PRODUCTS!!

  10. WELL SAID! Although, the farm in question should be closed immediately, remove ALL the animals and then bring them to a sanctuary. They need immediate Veterinary Care and safety. Once that’s done, a thorough investigation and severe punishment to those involved and those who closed a blind eye to this horrific treatment!!!!!

  11. Annemiek Mulderij says:

If animal cruelty is accepted and no-one shows any remorse it says a lot about that country. You should be ashamed of yourself!

  12. JoAnne Caravella says:

THESE FUCKING BASTARDS. I HOPE ANIMAL LOVERS GET TO THESE FUCKING PRICKS AND BEAT THEM UNTIL THEY SCREAM OUT IN HORRIFIC PAIN – BUT KEEP BEATING UNTIL ALL PRICKS INVOLVED ARE D E A D !!
    BURN IN HELL FUCKING BASTARDS!!

  13. Pamela Plambeck says:

SICKENING! This heinous operation needs to be shut down immediately and all involved-prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

  14. Carol Pearce says:

SHAME ON YOU WALES – horrendous treatment of animals. NO ANIMAL deserves to be abused in ANY WAY. shut them down. Jail the perpetrators and give them a very hefty fine so it hurts them.

  15. Wendy Morrison says:

ALL these STUPID, CRUEL, & ABUSIVE ASSHOLES DESERVE THE EXACT TORTURE IMMEDIATELY AS THEY HAVE INFLICTED ON ALL THESE INNOCENT DEFENSELESS COWS!!!!!!!!

  16. Valerie Rowlands says:

Disgusting, the farm needs to be closed down and all the animals sent to a sanctuary, those evil excuses for human beings thrown in a cell, fined heavily and never allowed near animals again.

  17. Valerie Rowlands says:

Where in Wales is this farm? Ashamed to be Welsh, please close them down.

  18. Aprille Gilmore says:

Cows are the sweetest animals. The way we treat them is shameful. The UK has, from what I understand, fairly strong animal welfare legislation. Please prosecute this case to the fullest. This farmer deserves jail time.

  19. Maria Lavorato says:

Tafarn Y Bugail dairy farm. SHUT THIS HELL HOLE DOWN IMMEDIATELY. CHARGE AND JAIL ALL THOSE INVOLVED IN THESE HORRENDOUS ATROCITIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. ENFORCE YOUR ANIMAL PROTECTION LAWS WITH EACH OFFENCE!

NO LIVING BEING SHOULD SUFFER THE WAY THESE SWEET LITTLE COWS SUFFERED!. THEY DO NOTHING TO DESERVE ANY OF THIS…..JUST HE OPPOSITE WITH ALL THE PROVIDE FOR MAN!!!!!

Lesley Griffiths, Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs, Wales THERE IS NO REASON ON EARTH WHY ANY ANIMAL EVER SHOULD ENDURE THIS OR ANY KIND OF ABUSE!!! PLEASE MAKE THESE VICIOUS BASTARDS PAY OR YOU HAVE MONSTERS FREE TO CONTINUE THEIR BRUTALITY! PLEASE PROTECT ALL YOUR ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. Urszula Lund says:

Shocking cruelty is UBIQUITOUS in the slaughter-industry across the world. If you rescue one cow, one chicken, one pig or one lamb, there are BILLIONS of others living in the same inferno, or even worse. The only way you can help animals, WITHOUT being a hypocrite is to GO VEGAN. I’ve been an ethical vegan for 25 years and these are the most happy years of my life…
I wish you the same happy and CRUELTY-FREE LIFESTYLE… VEGAN LIFESTYLE!
Ethical Veganism is not a diet. It’s a compassionate and loving LIFESTYLE towards ALL species we share planet Earth with. All animals deserve it, just like YOU and ME!!
