Siamese Cat Reportedly Tied to Tree for Days for Being ‘Naughty and Stubborn’ Deserves Justice

Target: Renán Barrera Concha, Mayor of Mérida

Goal: Implement stringent measures to prevent animal neglect and abuse in Mérida.

In the serene Guadalupana neighborhood of Mérida, a disturbing scene unfolds. A Siamese cat, reportedly left tied to a tree for several days, faces harsh conditions. Residents report seeing the cat outdoors, rope-bound, deprived of food and water, and its health visibly declining. The owner’s alleged reasoning? The cat’s stubbornness and naughtiness. This situation raises profound concerns about animal welfare and the need for immediate action.

Eyewitnesses are appalled. They describe the cat’s dire state: left in the elements, without sustenance, its plight worsening. The act of tying an animal and denying it basic needs, as reported, is not only inhumane but also a violation of the animal’s rights. The owner’s justification does not excuse the apparent neglect. This incident has stirred outrage among locals, prompting them to seek aid from authorities.

Immediate intervention is imperative. The well-being of this cat and the prevention of similar cases hinge on decisive action. Urge the introduction of stricter laws and enforcement mechanisms in Mérida to protect animals from such alleged neglect and abuse. It’s time for a legal framework that ensures the safety and humane treatment of all animals in our community.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mayor Renán Barrera Concha,

I write to draw your attention to a troubling case of alleged animal neglect in our beloved Guadalupana neighborhood. Residents have witnessed a Siamese cat, reportedly tied to a tree for days, in deplorable conditions: exposed to the elements, without food or water, its health rapidly deteriorating. The owner’s alleged reasoning, citing the cat’s purported stubbornness, does not justify such treatment.

This case highlights a larger issue within our community – the need for robust animal welfare laws and their strict enforcement. The current situation, where an animal can reportedly be left tied and neglected based on an owner’s subjective judgment, indicates a significant gap in our legal and ethical standards regarding animal care. The residents’ report, highlighting the cat’s visible distress and the owner’s admission, paints a grim picture of the situation. Such alleged acts of neglect must not be overlooked or trivialized.

It is crucial to establish a precedent that protects animals from similar fates. The alleged suffering of this Siamese cat must catalyze change. We implore you to take immediate steps to ensure the safety of this cat and implement more stringent regulations against animal neglect and abuse in Mérida. Such measures are essential not only for the welfare of animals but also for fostering a community that values and upholds compassion and justice.

We trust in your leadership and commitment to justice to address this pressing issue. Your intervention can prevent future incidents of animal neglect and serve as a testament to Mérida’s dedication to the humane treatment of all living beings. We await your prompt and decisive action in this matter.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. i hope the that the cat is saved. what if the owner self is tied to a tree for days without food and water. Would he survive?

    • E.I. Tie this simple minded ex owner to a tree, but leave that vermin without food and drink until he is broken. That kind has no value whatsoever!!!

  2. I had a Siamese cat and she was also naughty and stubborn, but I never punished her. Siamese cats are known for their stubbornness. Punishment is pointless in animals. The animal does not understand it and only becomes afraid. The owner is better off not having animals.

that was not justification it was B.S. and why did it take days???????

  4. Sandra mason says:

let’s do it and hope he doesn’t.

  5. What’s going on? There are few signatures and fewer comments. And the comments appear to be from months ago.

I mean, this is nasty stuff. Is it that t Cat wasn’t killed Or disemboweled? But it Is nasty stuff anyway.

  6. WOW! I wonder ow the kids are punished?

  7. OKAY, THIS HAPPENED IN JANUARY — SIX MONTHS AGO. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS POOR CAT?!?!!?! AND DID THE CUNT “OWNER” GET THEIR ASS HANDED TO THEM?!?!?!!?!

THIS SICKENS ME, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THERE IS VIRTUALLY ZERO INFORMATION ABOUT THIS OTHER THAN A COUPLE OF BLURBS. AND THOSE BLURBS DON’T OFFER ANYTHING MORE THAN WAS ALREADY STATED HERE.

    DEATH TO ALL ANIMAL ABUSERS.

  8. László Lendl says:

Find the guilty (Owners??) and give them at least the same treatment of not worse. Let them die slowly. Mofos.

  9. Sandra Russell says:

We are, unhappily, often not assured of a satisfactory outcome for those animals featured to be in dire circumstances, often life-threatening. Otherwise, where the animal has already suffered death, government officials are implored to rectify the situation..

What happened to this poor cat? Certainly, we would like to learn of its rescue from idiotic “punishment’ and consequences for the owner/offender.

  10. Carol Pearce says:

This SICKO must be put out of his misery. Just a waste of fresh air and space. Tie him to a tree until he expires.

  11. Angeline D says:

Tie this piece of shit to a tree and let them waste away. Sorry excuse for a human being, how ignorant can you be? I saw we do the same to them or just let me have a day with them! I hope your whole family dies you ignorant cunt

  12. Nancy Arotsky says:

It states people saw the health decline…Well what the hell were they doing to save this cat? At first sight, someone should have rescued the cat and the owner charged. Despicable

  13. why don’t the people do something this is disgusting jail the creep

  14. Bina Pannell says:

If people don’t have the cojones to interfere straight away, they should at least contact the authorities and animal welfare organisations immediately.
I am so sick of reading about ‘outrage’, ‘upset’, ‘concerned’ witnesses who do absolutely nothing to alleviate the pain and stop the abuse as soon as they see it.

  15. What the hell is wrong with those eye-witnesses????
Noticing what’s going on but leaving the cat in this situation is similar to tying the poor soul to the tree!
“Oh, but we are heroes – we informed the authorities…”
Wtf – SEVERAL DAYS and they kept on watching – shame on all of them and hell on earth to the owner….

  16. I agree with Tracey A!! Why did the story take so long to surface? What was the outcome of the animal? And was there any punishment to the owner? Truly disturbing!!!!

  17. UncommonSensesc says:

What the hell is wrong with people??? I’d love to take a Karma bat (aka Louisville Slugger) to this dumbass! That poor cat! I can’t imagine. Also, it seems there were neighbors and people who knew what was going on yet they didn’t do a damn thing! I think the person is too stupid to live so just kill and leave for buzzard food. And if my taxpayer money goes to this effed up country, it needs to stop. Any country (or state) that abuses animals gets all funding for everything cut off immediately!

  18. Elaine Al meqdad says:

YOU KNOW WHAT, I WILL ALWAYS SIGN PETITIONS FOR ANIMALS, BEEN SIGNING OVER 3,000 A MONTH! HOWEVER, WHAT I FIND SO DAMN STRANGE, PERHAPS EVEN SOME OR MOST ALL OF THESE PETITIONS “ALWAYS “ HAVE SOMEONE READILY AVAILABLE TO “FILM THE EVENT!!!” WTF IS THAT ABOUT???????? I WOULD NEVER EVER JUST STAND BACK AND WATCH. ANY ANIMAL SUFFERING, I WOULD BE ON THAT LIKE WHITE ON RICE AND KNOCK THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ANYONE WHO EVEN THOUGHT OF TRYING TO STOP NE FROM GETTING THAT ANIMAL IN MY HANDS AND GET IT TO A MEDICAL FACILITY IN A NEW YORK SECOND!!! SO YOU KNOW WHAT, I AM REALLY STARTING TO BELIEVE THAT THE VAST MAJORITY OF THESE PETITIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY FAKE! YES, I WILL STILL SIGN THEM JUST IN CASE BUT IN THE MEANTIME, I WILL BE PRAYING THAT THOSE WHO JUST STAND AROUND WATCHING AND FILMING SUCH HORRIFIC EVENTS, JUST SIMPLY DROP DEAD OF A HEART ATTACK!!!

    • Janice M Washienko says:

I too sign every animal petition although for every one signed at least 2 or 3 more cases pop up unfortunately.

This person or persons should NEVER have pets or for that matter children as well!

I pray the day will come when no more petitions are needed.

  19. Just wait till night , go in and take the cat then hand over to the authorities after seeing to food and water for it. It’s not too difficult surely., especially if there is photos of it tied up.

  20. JoAnne Caravella says:

WELL, IF I WERE A NEIGHBOR OR ANYONE THAT NOTICED THAT CAT OR ANY ANIMAL BEING HORRIFICALLY ABUSED – THE HELL WITH THE FUCKING OWNER AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITY. I WOULD HAVE REMOVED AND HELPED THAT CAT ON MY OWN. PISS ON EVERYTHING. YOU DO NOT MAKE A ANIMAL SUFFER LIKE THIS FUCKING EVIL PERSON DID. I HOPE SOMEONE GETS TO THIS FUCKWER AND TAKES THEM FAR OUT INTO THE WOODS AND DO THE SAME GOD DAMN THING TO THEM, BUT WHERE NOONE COULD FIND OR HEAR THEM. LET THE BASTARD DIE OUT THERE. KARMA BABY, I LOVE IT.
HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL AND DAMN SOON. HOPE & PRAY FOR THE KITTY AND DEFINITELY TAKE THAT POOR CAT AWAY FROM THIS FUCKING BASTARD. AN EVIL PRICK LIKE THIS- I SURE AS HELL WOULD NOT WANT TO BE RELATED OR A SO CALLED FRIEND THO THIS FUCKING ASSHOLE.
