The evil person or people that did this must be found and prosecuted. If there were any justice those people would be exterminated, they are dangerous and nasty. Just like the dogs have been banned, ban those vicious people. The Government is guilty of kneejerk reaction in banning breeds, because that will never solve the real problem, which is the dangerous and irresponsible people who own the dogs that they train the be aggressive and let them off lead in public. Those types of people will only do the same with other breeds instead. But there is insufficient policing to do what is needed to catch such people and stop them, so the Government do something much easier but far less effective. This is history, it happened when the first breeds were banned decades ago, it never worked then and it will not work now. Get rid of Rishi Sunak as well! What does a multi-millionaire know about ordinary people anyway?

This person (or persons) is obviously a danger both to animals and other humans. They need to be removed from society and preferably in a jail where prisoners who love dogs have access to them.This poor little dog must have suffered horribly and anyone who can do this is a low life. Surely there is cctv around this area to identify who dumped this little dog there. Yes, England has terrible animal protection laws! Even those that are enacted are not enforced: despite hunting being illegal, foxes are still routinely hunted on horseback using dogs that chase, corner and attack them and tear them to shreds, and the police know and turn a blind eye. Often it’s been filmed by SABs and the evidence ignored by court magistrates. Protected, endangered species like pigeons, doves and gulls are daily harmed, maimed, and outright killed with little justice served unless there is a huge public outcry. It’s a barbaric place for animal welfare.

Oh ffs. There are cctv cameras every few feet/meters all over London. Most shops have them and the larger ones on buildings have a view range of hundreds of meters. All record the video and are available to police. There is absolutely no way that that this animal torturer cannot be identified! The police are uselessly lazy and the RSPCA has been disempowered by government to act. The UK is so often touted as a nation of animal lovers, but in my 25 years of living here, I have learned nothing could be further from the truth.
