Target: Jason Miyares, Attorney General of Virginia
Goal: Initiate legal proceedings against individuals allegedly responsible for mistreating animals at the Virginia roadside zoo.
In a shocking revelation, nearly a hundred exotic animals were reportedly seized from a roadside zoo in Virginia. Allegations suggest these creatures endured severe mistreatment. The details emerging from the Natural Bridge Zoo in Rockbridge County paint a harrowing picture. Investigators reportedly found 89 living and 28 deceased animals in conditions described as ‘filthy’, with many showing signs of health issues. This incident raises serious questions about the zoo’s adherence to animal welfare standards and laws.
Further disturbing details underline the gravity of these allegations. Deer were apparently seen fighting over food provided by visitors, indicating a possible lack of adequate feeding protocols. A particularly distressing incident involved a deceased, bloated goat allegedly left unattended for over an hour, unnoticed by staff. The variety of animals affected, including lemurs, macaws, pythons, and llamas, underscores the widespread nature of this alleged neglect. These revelations demand a thorough investigation and appropriate legal response to ensure justice for these animals.
The necessity for legal action in this case cannot be overstated. Such alleged disregard for animal welfare cannot go unaddressed. It is essential that those allegedly responsible for this mistreatment face legal scrutiny. The evidence, as outlined in the search warrants, suggests a clear violation of animal welfare standards. Demand the initiation of legal proceedings against those allegedly involved in the cruelty and neglect at the Natural Bridge Zoo.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear Attorney General Jason Miyares,
We write to you amid deeply concerning allegations of animal mistreatment at the Natural Bridge Zoo in Rockbridge County, Virginia. The recent seizure of nearly 100 exotic animals from this facility brings to light alleged atrocities that demand your immediate attention. Reports indicate these animals were living in deplorable conditions, with many suffering from various health issues due to neglect and cruelty. Such allegations, if true, represent a blatant disregard for animal welfare laws and standards.
Further examination of the situation reveals even more disturbing details. Deer reportedly fighting over food, a deceased goat left unattended for over an hour, and animals living in filthy habitats highlight a pattern of alleged neglect and abuse. The variety of animals involved, including lemurs, macaws, pythons, and llamas, suggests this was not an isolated incident but rather a systemic issue within the zoo. This situation warrants a thorough investigation and, if the allegations are substantiated, swift legal action against those responsible.
Therefore, we urge you to take immediate action. The evidence presented in the search warrants, along with the first-hand observations and investigations by the authorities, suggest a dire situation for these animals. Those allegedly responsible for this cruelty and neglect must be held accountable under the law. We ask that you initiate legal proceedings against the individuals allegedly involved in this case to ensure justice is served and to prevent such alleged atrocities from occurring.
Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]

Please close down this zoo! Send all the animals to respectable sanctuaries and allow them to breathe a sigh of relief. No animal should live in fear, should have to endure any forms of physical abuse or worry where their next meal is coming from. This type of zoo is archaic and needs to be closed.

With such protection under the law that Virginia provides nonhumans, it’s surprising how many nonhumans are suffering here. It speaks to a larger problem of leadership not taking proper action on violations of existing laws. Yet another violation of safety and the healthcare of dependent animals in Virginia. How come?
Close this monstrosity down and prosecute the low life that made them suffer and get them out of that hell hole and into a sanctuary, Then make sure who is suppose to check on these places and obviously did not loose their job and get a responsible caring EDUCATED person in the job so this does not happen again.
Why hasn’t this place been shut down? They obviously don’t care about the welfare of the innocent animals forced to live in that place. They’ve racked up violations, shut them down and prosecute the owners!!
