Justice for Chained Dogs Reportedly Found With Painfully Visible Ribs, Spines, and Hips

Target: Rachel Mitchell, District Attorney of Maricopa County

Goal: Prosecute those responsible for the severe neglect and abuse of eight dogs in Phoenix.

In a disturbing revelation, authorities in Phoenix uncovered a heartbreaking scene of animal neglect. While pursuing unrelated criminal activity, police discovered eight dogs apparently in severe distress. Reportedly, these animals, chained and malnourished, were found in a backyard, their physical condition pointing towards prolonged suffering. This ghastly sight, where ribs, spines, and hips were reportedly painfully visible on every dog, demands immediate attention and action.

Further details from the scene paint a picture of apparently gross neglect. Allegedly, water, when available, was contaminated and unfit for consumption and food was nowhere in sight. Officers reported that the dogs were restrained by metal chains, cruelly tethered and left with inadequate shelter. In one particularly distressing find, a small black puppy was apparently located in a kennel, isolated and neglected, without food or water. The Arizona Humane Society, summoned to the scene, was reported to note the inadequacy of the shelters provided, intensifying the animals’ distress.

This horrific scenario not only exposes the inhumanity apparently inflicted upon these innocent animals but also calls for stringent legal measures. Demand the prosecution of the individuals responsible for this cruelty.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Rachel Mitchell,

In the wake of the recent shocking discovery in Phoenix, where eight dogs were apparently found in a state of severe neglect, we turn to you for justice. This case, involving animals reportedly subjected to extreme malnutrition and inhumane conditions, represents a clear violation of animal welfare laws. The alleged details – dogs with visible ribs and spines, chained and denied basic necessities like clean water and food – illustrate a disturbing level of cruelty.

This situation is not merely about animal welfare but also about the moral and legal responsibilities we hold as a society. The people responsible for this cruelty have not only inflicted pain and suffering on these animals but have also violated societal norms and laws designed to protect the voiceless. We urge you to take swift and decisive legal action against them. Their prosecution is not just about penalizing wrongdoing but also about affirming our commitment as a community to compassion and justice.

We, therefore, request that you prioritize this case and ensure that those responsible are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Such actions will send a clear message that animal cruelty is a serious offense and will not be tolerated in our society. We look forward to your prompt response and action in this matter.

Sincerely,

Your Name Here

  1. This is America! There should be laws of grave consequence to deter these type of crimes. The laws need to be severe and enforced no matter the age of the criminal. There is no reason or excuse for harming animals by denying them their needs when we remove them from their territory. This is malicious! This is a brutal attempt to harm and make animals suffer. This is an example of not enforcing the law. No one wants to have their drivers license taken away. If laws are broken and harm is caused then take away their license, their home, their car. Laws are enforced for a reason and those breaking the law must answer to the law. Perps need to suffer the way they watched innocent victims suffer.

      I agree well said

      • Maureen Henderson says:

We should not have to tolerate the existence of such ignorant, cruel supposed human beings. Everyday we are confronted by their deliberate sadism. There is really only one solution, isn’t there?

    • Naomi Paula Lichtner says:

But we can’t be progressive or blatantly put animals first here (or really anywhere in the world). That is just too….anti-human.

In other words, I agree. If there were actual punishments this would stop and the only ones to suffer would be those that deserve it: the monsters in human suits who couldn’t get the joy they discover in inflicting pain.

  2. Looks like Arizona is on the path to membership in the ‘we hate animals’ club, like Mississippi and Texas, etc. Is that what you want? To be like these states known for animal abuse and lack of laws or the will to change this? This person/s clearly knew better and deliberately let these defenseless animals live in misery. What would happen to a child in their care, or an elderly person? To stop this abuse it is paramount to charge, prosecute and incarcerate these cowards and to let others know there will be real consequences for abusing defenseless beings.

  3. Sharon Rudyk says:

If you start doing the same right back to these crappy humans, this horrific human behavior would soon STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Well we can’t get anyone to prosecute the orange moron for his crimes, so why should we expect to have these assholes prosecuted?

  5. these scum bags should be jailed and hung

What are you going to do about this? I want justice for all 8 dogs…PLEASE. ALL THIS ANIMAL TORTURE NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!!!!

Who does this property belong to.? THERE HAS TO BE APPROPRIATE PUNISHMENT THAT FITS THE CRIME.
All these A-holes need to SUFFER!!!!! MAKE IT A PRIORITY TO FIND THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Paula Long says:

Hey Arizona, get your lady together and have compassion for animals. Put this cruel SOB outside with no shelter, food, water or escape! Abuse starts with animals and eventually moves on to humans. I was raised in Arizona and this thoroughly makes me sick!

  8. S. Challenger says:

It’s long overdue America stopped such horrific cruelty to animals, with harsh punishments! Animal cruelty happens worldwide, but I always thought America was civilised. With the sadistic cruelty reports emanating from America, punishments have to be harsher. Dogs are family and must not be chained outside, or denied food, water and shelter! Horrific, cruel owners must be banned for life from owning, them, ever being near them or everworking with them!

  9. Aprille Gilmore says:

A lot of cruelty stories coming from AZ. No state is immune from criminally irresponsible farmers and pet owners but, the south and southwest really seem to work overtime. I lived in NM. It was the worst re: cruelty. Please prosecute this case fully.

  10. Dolores Proubasta says:

When the victims are helpless — i.e., other-than-humans, the elderly, children, or handicapped — the maximum punishment should be at least doubled. And most definitely the name/s of the culprit/s permanently entered in the State’s Animal Abuser Registry (when there is one … if not get it!) and in the National Incident-based Reporting System (NIBRS) of the FBI.

  11. UncommonSensesc says:

The 2 “people” that did this are Barry Kee and his sister, Dandrea price. His address is Phoenix, Arizona. It was in the area of 7th Street and Moutain View Road (started out the cops were chasing stolen car suspects). I can’t find the exact address but I’m looking. Greet them with a Karma bat if you see them! I do wonder if they’re involved in dog fighting. It sure sounds like it. People who dog fight are the lowest, meanest, evil people on this earth and need to be eradicated for the safety of all living things.

  12. Urszula Lund says:

No animal deserves to be the victim of DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED SADISTIC PSYCHOPATHS!!! Crimes committed against defenseless animals are increasingly GROTESQUE because the punishment for animal abuse is not severe enough, and in many cases does not exist. A slap on the wrist is a MOCKERY of animal victims.
This satanic pathological monster must be severely punished, MAX JAIL or DEATH PENALTY! He must also be forbidden from coming near/owning animals ever again.
SET a PRECEDENT, and punish to the full extent of the law!

  13. @g. Well said!!! I totally agree with you!!!

  14. Cindy Miller says:

    Np words!! 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

  15. We need to “get” these MOFOs and get them good!

  16. Wendy Morrison says:

Find ALL WHOM ARE RESPONSIBKE FOR THEIR CRUEL ABUSIVE TOWARDS THESE DEFENSELESS AND INNOCENT DOGS!! CHAIN ALL THESE CRUEL ABUSIVE ASSHOLES UP OUT IN THE SUN WITHOUT ANY FOOD AND WITHOUT ANY WATER UNTIL THEY ALL DIE SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATHS!! ALL TYPES OF ANIMAL CRUELTY AND ABUSE NEEDS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY EVERYWHERE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD!!!!!

  17. Jacqueline Adams says:

Poor pups!! Throw the book at them!!
Stronger laws starting with chaining these Scumbags to a kennel with no food or water!!

  18. Claudia Ferguson says:

Chain the up in a field for a few days and leave then there. Then jail them with hard work to do!

  19. We live in such a self centered self interested society these days; What ever happened to the “do unto others as you would have done to you” mentality ?? This applies to animals as well as to people. When animals are elevated through legal status people take note and they teach their children to respect them. With animal laws being squelched in many red Republican states it is teaching people and their children to devalue them thus leading to more abuse and more tragic deaths of innocent and vulnerable animals. Agree with all above 23+

  20. Τhe abusers should be eliminated and finish with this.
