Protect Monkeys, Victims of Alleged Cruelty at Research Center

Target: Ismael Ozanne, District Attorney of Dane County

Goal: Initiate legal proceedings against those allegedly responsible for the cruelty at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center.

At the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center, reportedly, acts of cruelty have led to the demise of two rhesus macaques, Cornelius and Princess. Allegations include the use of invasive procedures like electro-ejaculation and psychological torment. Such acts, if proven true, highlight a dire need for legal scrutiny and accountability.

Further details describe Cornelius’s alleged loss of will to live, and Princess’s extreme distress, evidenced by self-mutilation. PETA’s investigation, following a six-month undercover operation, brought these disturbing claims to light. The heartbreaking state of these animals, if true, compels an urgent call for justice.

The refusal to prosecute, despite a judge’s acknowledgment of probable cause, seems to ignore the severity of these allegations. This petition demands immediate legal action. Those responsible for such alleged cruelty must face scrutiny under the law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Ismael Ozanne,

Alleged acts of cruelty at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center have been brought to light, painting a distressing picture of animal suffering. Specifically, the cases of Cornelius and Princess, two rhesus macaques, demand your attention. It is alleged that these animals suffered immensely, a situation that requires your immediate intervention.

The extent of the alleged cruelty, including invasive procedures and psychological torment, raises serious ethical and legal questions. The evidence presented by PETA’s investigation, though not leading to prosecution thus far, is compelling and disturbing. It paints a picture of suffering that, if true, cannot be overlooked.

We urge you to reconsider the decision not to prosecute and take immediate legal action against those allegedly responsible for such cruelty. Justice for Cornelius, Princess, and potentially other animals in similar situations relies on your willingness to pursue this case. Their stories deserve to be heard and justice, if warranted by the evidence, must be served.

Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]

Until the NIH is held responsible for the animal torture, mutilation, deprivation and psychological terror that is performed in the name of “science”, nothing will change. Our tax dollars are greedily gathered up to provide funding for all of this mess, and the luxurious lifestyles of the researchers are another indication of the blatant corruption.
