Malnourished Dogs Who Allegedly Suffered Prolonged Neglect and Abuse Deserve Justice

Target: Kris Mayes, Arizona State Prosecutor

Goal: Ensure legal accountability for the individuals allegedly responsible for the maltreatment of eight dogs in Phoenix.

In a distressing incident uncovered in Phoenix, body-cam footage revealed a harrowing scenario. Eight dogs, reportedly chained and severely malnourished, were discovered at a residence near 7th Street and Cave Creek Road. This footage, released by Phoenix Police, apparently showcases the dire conditions these animals endured. On November 16, authorities arrived at the scene to find these helpless creatures in an apparent state of neglect. The Arizona Humane Society intervened, rescuing the dogs needing medical attention.

Further details suggest a grim reality. The homeowner, Barry Kee, and his sister, Dandrea Price, face allegations of animal cruelty. Reportedly, they are accused of 56 counts related to the mistreatment of these animals. The charges hint at a prolonged period of neglect and abuse. The physical state of the dogs, as seen in the video, paints a picture of suffering. These animals reportedly experienced conditions no living being should endure. Their plight is a stark reminder of the alleged cruelty inflicted by those who should have been their caretakers.

This situation demands action. The alleged perpetrators need to be held accountable for their actions. If these allegations are true, justice must prevail. The community must ensure that such acts of cruelty are met with appropriate legal consequences. Arizona State Prosecutor should take firm action against Barry Kee and Dandrea Price, ensuring they face the full extent of the law if found guilty. This case not only seeks justice for the wronged animals but also serves as a deterrent against future acts of animal cruelty.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Kris Mayes,

In light of the distressing case involving eight seemingly malnourished dogs in Phoenix, I write to implore your office’s decisive action. The body-cam footage released by the Phoenix Police on December 1st reportedly illustrates a chilling tale of neglect and abuse. Found in a home near 7th Street and Cave Creek Road, these dogs were apparently in a deplorable state, chained, and in dire need of medical attention. The alleged actions of Barry Kee and Dandrea Price, who now face multiple counts of animal cruelty, have caused public outrage and demand your urgent attention.

The details of this case are disturbing. Animals, innocent and defenseless, were reportedly subjected to conditions that no creature should ever endure. The allegations against Kee and Price, if proven true, represent a gross violation of animal welfare laws. This case has not only brought to light the suffering of these particular animals but also raised broader concerns about animal cruelty in our community. As citizens, we look to you to uphold the law and ensure that justice is served in cases that shake the moral fabric of our society.

Therefore, I respectfully request that your office take swift and stringent action in this matter. If these allegations are substantiated, it is crucial that Barry Kee and Dandrea Price are held fully accountable for their actions. This case must be pursued not only for the sake of the animals involved but also to send a clear message that animal cruelty is a serious offense, warranting serious consequences. We trust in your commitment to justice and in your ability to ensure that those who inflict harm on animals are met with the full force of the law.

Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]
