Turkeys Apparently Kicked, Stomped and Beaten at Farm Deserve Justice

Target: Michelle Henry, Pennsylvania Attorney General

Goal: Ensure rigorous legal consequences for all involved in Pennsylvania’s largest animal cruelty case.

Shocking and deplorable acts of cruelty against turkeys at several Pennsylvania farms have recently come to light. An extensive investigation, initiated by a complaint from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), reportedly revealed that employees at Plainville Farms were involved in heinous acts of violence against these birds. The cruelty apparently included kicking, stomping, and beating, leading to what is now known as the largest factory-farmed animal cruelty case in U.S. history.

Eleven former employees of Plainville Farms have been charged, with convictions including Joseph Nunez Rosario and Christopher Stephen McArdle. Alleged atrocities occurred across farms in Franklin, Chester, Cumberland, Fulton, Perry, and Union counties. These acts not only represent a gross violation of animal rights but also reflect a disturbing disregard for compassion and ethical treatment in the agricultural sector.

This petition demands strict legal punishment for all individuals involved in this reprehensible behavior. Their actions, allegedly witnessed firsthand by a PETA employee, cannot be overlooked or minimized. It is essential that these cases serve as a deterrent against future acts of cruelty within the industry. Ensure that justice is served not only for the victims, but also to uphold ethical standards in our society.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Henry,

The recent revelation of alleged widespread cruelty to turkeys at Plainville Farms in Pennsylvania has shocked and appalled the community. As the largest case of its kind in U.S. history, it demands your immediate attention and action. This letter, representing the voices of concerned citizens, urgently calls for the enforcement of rigorous legal consequences against all individuals involved in these heinous acts.

The extent of the cruelty, involving kicking, stomping, and beating of turkeys, was allegedly witnessed by a PETA employee, leading to charges against eleven former employees. Such brutality not only inflicts unspeakable suffering on innocent animals but also raises serious concerns about ethical practices in our agricultural industries. The convictions of Joseph Nunez Rosario and Christopher Stephen McArdle, among others, represent only a fraction of the necessary legal response to this widespread issue.

We implore you to ensure that all individuals involved in these alleged acts of cruelty face the full extent of legal consequences. These cases must serve as a stark reminder and a deterrent to prevent any future occurrences of such barbarity. It is imperative that justice is served for the victims and that a clear message is sent about the values we uphold as a society.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

I suggest people also take their outrage and apply it to Plainville’s corporation.
They were not oblivious of what went on. Boycott them, send letters of protest. Let them feel it at pocketbook level, letting them know their being watched.

BTW, it helps if commenters here keep it classy and to the point. Off topic arguments just sound crazy and dilute the matter at hand.

    • Absolutely, agree, hit ‘em where it hurts the most and will count when it comes to shareholders profit margins and corporate executives pocket books! Plainview is a major Turkey meat factory farm supplier so where and to whom do they supply turkeys to ? What grocery or supermarket chains sell these birds ?? Company policy and rules need to mandate that these animals be treated with kindness and humility as they provide income to support the workers and their families and their communities so show some GD respect and treat them fair and humanely. Show some humanity for God’s sake. Boycott the stores that sell Plainview birds. The company needs to reinstate a firm policy that resembles small rural family farms that for generations raised people that respected the land, the business and appreciated that the birds supplied family income and held the belief of gratitude for making an honest living. (My apologies to the vegans and vegetarians out there however if we’re going to change it we have to start with the lifelong die hard meat eaters which is what I unfortunately know too well), therefore Melinda is right, write Plainview call Plainview, and also in addition to: boycott the retail stores that sell the turkeys that sell for Plainview, and spread the word; this is the only way to put an end to this horrific abuse. Everything else is just venting. Call me seriously inspired.

  2. Punch their brainless heads to a pulp.
Then they will feel what they are doing to these innocent animals!
I’m all for an eye for an eye tooth for a tooth.
Maybe the animal cruelty and one day stop. Do NOT treat them like humans, because they are not!!!!

    • Patricia Lamonica says:

EXACTLY CORRECT THEY ARE NOT HUMAN THEY ARE LESS THAN HUMAN BEINGS SICK PHYCOPATHS WHO WILL EVENTUALLY MOVE TO HUMANS THERE IS NO HELP FOR THEM EXCEPT FOR EXACUTION SHOULD BE THE LAW FOR ALL AND ANY ANIMAL ABUSERS!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Stupid and mean people should be eliminated.

  4. Maria Lavorato says:

I am very grateful that PETA employees were there to witness these vicious atrocities.

So now it is imperative that every level of the judicial system follow through with maximum charges.

Joseph Nunez Rosario, Christopher Stephen McArdle and others should be charged, fired and never allowed to work with animals or people again.

And most definitely Plainville Farms Management etc should be investigated, charged and replaced with compassionate humans. THEY WERE MOST LIKELY AWARE AND COMPLICIT. So now the other shoe MUST fall.

Is it now enough that these little turkeys have short sad lives that they have to endure torture as well!!!!!?!?!?!?!/!?

  5. Susan Rodriguez says:

I just don’t understand the mentality of these workers. Bad enough that these poor turkeys have to die so someone can eat them but at least treat them as living entities till then. Punishment has to happen to these workers. They are not fit to work around any animals.

  6. Fairell McFarland says:

These people are so ignorant. There is absolutely no reason for their actions against a defenseless animal. They don’t deserve this. These stupid ass people need to be prosecuted. Is this how they are with their kids or their animals they have. I hope Karma comes and gets them.

  7. Irene Leggett says:

Of course the so-called management and supervisors knew EXACTLY what was happening to those innocent birds so they are just as GUILTY as their vile, deranged, sadistic workers of committing this abuse to innocent birds. I just wonder what these pieces of human trash do for ‘fun and entertainment’ at home???? I expect they tell their families that they’ve had a lovely day at work, stomping, kicking, throwing and punching turkeys just for the sheer hell of it and because they’ll get away with doing it…..

    • Sonna Hosta says:

You are SOOO right! Everyone in management knew. How could they not? I’m sure videos were all over the place!!

  8. Cindy Miller says:

    NO WORDS! 💔💔

  9. Agree all comments beat kick stomp on them . Kill these cunts.Justice now

  10. Antonio D'cardoni says:

These vile BASTARDS! They DO NOT have a place in our society! Get rid of them by any means necessary.

Look at the other turkey as it watches helplessly at the other turkey get stomped to death!

  11. Absolutely, all the higher ups knew what was going on. They typically say and do nothing and let the workers blow off steam by abusing animals. Boycott this POS compamy and demand maximum punishment for ALL involved, including management.
But in truth, the only way this sh*t is really going to end is for everyone to stop eating animals.

  12. Sue Cugini says:

I wish the same treatment could be done to these psychopaths!

  13. Wendy Morrison says:

ALL THESE CRUEL & ABUSIVE EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE KICKED, STOMPED, AND BEATEN TO DEATH WHICH IS THE XMEXACT TORTURE THERE INNOCENT DEFENSELESS TURKEYS SUFFERED AT THESE ALL CRUEL ABUSIVE ASSHOLES!!!!

  14. Carol Pearce says:

Horrendous savagery to innocent animals. Close this type of facility down for good.

  15. Stephanie Geyser says:

The trouble is that only unemployable morons would work on farms like this. Morons like this will ALWAYS abuse the vulnerable (children and animals) because they can – and it makes the morons feel like “real big men”, because the vulnerable children/animals can’t fight back. And unfortunately if these morons are found guilty and lose their jobs, they will just be replaced by more unemployable morons, who will perpetuate the animal abuse. That’s why animal farming is so cruel and vile.

  16. What disgusting, vile, poor excuses of humans they are!

  17. Michelle – Please do the job you were hired to do and prosecute these uneducated assholes to the fullest extent! If animal torturer’s continue to get just a slap on the wrist, this kind of bullshit will never end! Please! Make an example of these idiots and hand down the punishment they deserve…

  18. This is disgusting horrifying behavior! If you don’t love animals or even like them get the hell out of that line of work period! You are all scumbags and deserve the full weight of the law coming down on you! You will never come anywhere near animals again nor should you ever be able to own a hamster let alone a dog! You are a brutal animal abuser that must lose any and all rights to even be around them you are pure evil! Nobody should victimize any animal I don’t care what your weak reasons are do you honestly think they want to be murdered let alone beat up prior?

  19. Paula Long says:

Beat the crap out of these abusers! There is no excuse for cruel treatment of any animal! It is so sad! Hold owners accountable also!

  20. These demons act like savages. Another vile reflection of MAN. And these animals live torturous lives to begin with and to have others come and stomp and beat on them???!!! GO VEGAN.
