Police Dog Apparently Punched Multiple Times by Officer for Peeing Deserves Justice

Target: Troy Rawlings, Davis County Attorney, Utah

Goal: Ensure police officer accused of punching service dog be prosecuted.

Corporal Timothy Robinson of Davis County Sheriff’s Office reportedly engaged in a reprehensible act. Allegations claim he punched Rolf, his police dog, multiple times. This shocking incident, witnessed by two fellow K-9 handlers, demands urgent legal action.

One handler described witnessing “5-10 strikes,” while the other apparently observed Rolf cowering. Such detailed accounts of the incident paint a disturbing picture. The alleged onslaught commenced when Robinson noticed Rolf peeing on the floor. Professional trainers with decades of experience, unequivocally condemn such behavior, stressing that this is not a standard training protocol. A service animal can be corrected verbally but never assaulted.

The necessity of this petition stems from a broader context of occasional animal cruelty within police departments. Similar cases in Utah highlight the need for stringent oversight and accountability. Demand decisive legal action against Corporal Timothy Robinson for his alleged misconduct.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Troy Rawlings,

The alleged actions of Corporal Timothy Robinson, such as the brutal treatment of his police K-9, Rolf, have stirred public outrage and demand your immediate attention. Detailed accounts from fellow K-9 handlers describe Robinson allegedly punching Rolf multiple times. This behavior, if proven true, is criminal.

Expert opinions from seasoned K-9 trainers emphasize that such conduct is neither a norm nor an acceptable form of correction in police dog training. The alleged incident, therefore, raises severe questions about Corporal Robinson’s adherence to standard practices and his moral judgment. Furthermore, the contextual history of animal cruelty cases within Utah’s law enforcement underscores the urgency for strict action in such matters. It is imperative that this case not be dismissed as an isolated or minor incident but seen as part of a significant concern that needs addressing at the systemic level.

Given these considerations, we urge you to pursue the highest possible charges against Corporal Timothy Robinson. The charge of “interfering with a police service animal or handler,” seems insufficient in capturing the gravity of the alleged actions. This prosecution is not just about one individual or one dog; it’s a stand for justice, ethical conduct, and the welfare of animals serving in law enforcement. We trust in your commitment to justice and await your decisive action in this matter.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  1. Take the dog away … take him out of the dog handler program immediately and charge him also. Not a paid suspension or anything, get rid of him entirely You do not want that type of person in your police program.

I wonder what he did to him at home when he had him.

The big, brave officer who has the responsibility of protecting
all of us should be investigated and punished for this
reprehensive act. He is a threat to the public and the dogs
he works with. Surely the K9 Rolf must be afraid of the guy.

MAX JAIL for ALL animal-torturers and animal-abusers. No animal deserves to be sadistically abused by DEHUMANIZED and DESENSITIZED psychopathic scum. This mentally-deranged “police officer” must be fired and forbidden from coming near animals ever again!
MAX JAIL is the only adequate punishment for this hellish scumbag!
SET a PRECEDENT and PUNISH to the full EXTENT of the LAW!

  4. Cathy McCormick says:

This violent animal abuser should be prosecuted, and never allowed to have another animal.

Corporal Timothy Robinson is a disgrace to the badge. Any officer who abuses his K9 must have the dog removed. The K9 must be protected from such control freaks. No officer should be allowed to work with a K9 or any other animal if animal abuse is on their record. A K9 or Horse is a member of the force & must be respected. NO officer has the right to abuse or neglect the animal he works with. Corporal Timothy Robinson must be reprimanded & face the consequences for his actions. There are no excuses here I urge Utah official/authorities to pursue the highest possible charges.

THEY HAVE LESS THAN HUMAN BEINGS SICK PHYCOPATHS WHO LIVE IN THIS STATE THAT’S ONE OF THE STATES THAT WANT TO MASACURE,TORTURE AND KILL ALL THE WOLFS VERY SICK MINDS!!! THIS WAS POSTED SOME TIME AGO

    • This…not only is it abuse, he has assaulted a fellow officer.

  7. What a big brave police officer. Tie his dick up so he can’t pee then let me beat him till he craps himself. I am so sick of people abusing animals. Even if the criminal is given a sentence it’s basically a slap on the wrist. Make it a real punishable crime so people might think twice before doing something horrible. And in the case of a police officer doing the abuse – fire him & he gets no pension!

    • Perfectly said!! I totally agree! That dog will need behavioral therapy to understand not everyone is a prick like his handler so he don’t become aggressive from fear. Animal abusers seldom pay a heavy consequence for abusing an animal which is why it’s out of control.

  8. TJ Manning says:

This “Public Safety” officer’s untreated PTSD has terrifyingly cascaded squarely onto K9 Rolf. Rolf himself now presents with symptoms of TSD. This “team” must be immediately dissolved before Rolf is permanently impaired. Corporal Robinson is himself too damaged to repair the relationship without likely relapse. Unless immediately remediated K9 Rolf will cease reliable functioning as a service member.

  9. Irene Leggett says:

What a vile, psychotic piece of human trash and he’s SUPPOSED to protect. Make sure this person is given a PROPER punishment with NO excuses just because he’s a ‘policeman’ Make sure he never owns or works with dogs for the rest of his miserable, pathetic life.

  10. My first question is why in the world didn’t anybody step in to stop this attack especially since others were right there to witness this appalling act of animal cruelty abuse torture etc.they all need to be charged! This is beyond and calls for severe reprimand of this officer they are supposed to be above this type of behavior having restraint self control if not step away from your job and immediately seek help for your aggression! This dog didn’t deserve this and makes you wonder what this officer has done to this dog in the past to get this out of control over an animals bodily function what else has happened! When a dog cowers in fear he’s scared of who his owner is this has happened before you can bet on it!

Hey Corporal Asshole, Stay away from all dogs, also you should be stripped of your corporal status, you are supposed to be a police officer, not a animal abuser! ASSHOLE

  12. Allen Kelly says:

Living in Utah is like being an alien on different planet-therefore I know that this ‘good’ Mormon, Robinson will not face any charges or be dismissed. If he punches the dog in front of others just imagine what happens when they’re alone!!!

I have reported k-9 abuse several times in Utah with no results-except that one time a k-9 officer died locked in a hot police car-this is the one that I am aware of-heaven knows what we don’t know or see. As you can tell I am disgusted with the way all animals are treated in Utah- much less highly trained k-9 officers!

  14. Agree all comments punch the shit out of him sack him. Also banned for owning animals or near one for life. Don’t want cruel fuckers in this world.

  15. Claudia Ferguson says:

That’s ridiculous!! It’s natural, numb- nuts! 😤Get rid of that Cop and jail him where be CAN’T PEE!

  16. This handler needs to be removed from the canine program! If he treats his well trained service dog in this manner I question his ability to deal with suspects within the confines of the law.

  17. Jeannie FRANK says:

Get this immature, selfish, despicable, undeserving trash off of the police force entirely-he deserves to be fired, and never allowed around any police K9 dogs or any and all animals!!!

  18. Judy Tandori says:

My dog only pees on the floor when he’s terrified of someone. Poor Rolf shouldn’t be anywhere near that officer, nor should that officer be allowed near animals.

  19. Psychotic animal abusers come in many forms & wear many uniforms. This violent abuser committing atrocities to this K9 needs to be thrown out of the force, completely untrustworthy & not fit to be even near an animal. This dog is a police officer & puts his life on the line for his handler & needs to be treated with loyalty & respect

  20. How can anyone expect any animal to hold their need to urinate? If they need to go, THEY NEED TO GO!!!! There should be NO punishment at all – verbal or any other! I don’t care if they’re “working animals”… no-one can switch their bodily needs off. Shame, that poor dog. He’ll be trained not to pee at all at this rate!!!
