Police Dog Apparently Punched Multiple Times by Officer for Peeing Deserves Justice

Target: Troy Rawlings, Davis County Attorney, Utah

Goal: Ensure police officer accused of punching service dog be prosecuted.

Corporal Timothy Robinson of Davis County Sheriff’s Office reportedly engaged in a reprehensible act. Allegations claim he punched Rolf, his police dog, multiple times. This shocking incident, witnessed by two fellow K-9 handlers, demands urgent legal action.

One handler described witnessing “5-10 strikes,” while the other apparently observed Rolf cowering. Such detailed accounts of the incident paint a disturbing picture. The alleged onslaught commenced when Robinson noticed Rolf peeing on the floor. Professional trainers with decades of experience, unequivocally condemn such behavior, stressing that this is not a standard training protocol. A service animal can be corrected verbally but never assaulted.

The necessity of this petition stems from a broader context of occasional animal cruelty within police departments. Similar cases in Utah highlight the need for stringent oversight and accountability. Demand decisive legal action against Corporal Timothy Robinson for his alleged misconduct.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Troy Rawlings,

The alleged actions of Corporal Timothy Robinson, such as the brutal treatment of his police K-9, Rolf, have stirred public outrage and demand your immediate attention. Detailed accounts from fellow K-9 handlers describe Robinson allegedly punching Rolf multiple times. This behavior, if proven true, is criminal.

Expert opinions from seasoned K-9 trainers emphasize that such conduct is neither a norm nor an acceptable form of correction in police dog training. The alleged incident, therefore, raises severe questions about Corporal Robinson’s adherence to standard practices and his moral judgment. Furthermore, the contextual history of animal cruelty cases within Utah’s law enforcement underscores the urgency for strict action in such matters. It is imperative that this case not be dismissed as an isolated or minor incident but seen as part of a significant concern that needs addressing at the systemic level.

Given these considerations, we urge you to pursue the highest possible charges against Corporal Timothy Robinson. The charge of “interfering with a police service animal or handler,” seems insufficient in capturing the gravity of the alleged actions. This prosecution is not just about one individual or one dog; it’s a stand for justice, ethical conduct, and the welfare of animals serving in law enforcement. We trust in your commitment to justice and await your decisive action in this matter.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

This police officer should be punched every time he pees!

  2. Pamela Chattergoon says:

A lot of these officers have huge egos and are on power trips. That’s why they become police officers. They want a sense of control and power. Its easier to do to a dog. Another man might punch you in the face. POS

  3. The officers who are to be allowed control over an animal need more scrutiny than the other officers. I’m reading more and more cases of officers abusing there canine partners. I’ll bet they wouldn’t do it to a person partner who may fight back. Kudos to the two officers who reported him, but they should have stood up for Rolf and stopped him. I hope corporal Timothy Robinson no longer works with animals and is punished for this.

  4. Such a weak, vile coward! He should be fired & face serious consequences. Register his puny ass as an animal abuser too! No mercy!

  5. Someone should beat this man’s cock with a Billy club every time he pees. How would he like it.

  6. Sharon Rudyk says:

JAIL THAT POS AND LET HIM TGAKE WHAT IS COMING TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Cindy Miller says:

    Fire the SOB!

  8. Lisa Carrano says:

That’s basically assaulting a police officer. WTF dude. Make this coward accountable for such reprehensible behavior!

  9. Once again, a psychotic police officer with anger issues assaults a weaker being. It’s a story as old as time. Kick this asshole off the force before the next victim is a woman, child, elder, etc. Put him behind bars for a little while and let his inmate friends show him what abuse feels like. These officers have mental issues and carry guns? It’s no wonder we have so many George Floyd stories. Many police officers are mentally unstable and need to be removed from their positions immediately!

  10. Unwarranted and unacceptable!

  11. Lori Kinney says:

This so called police officer need to be removed from any interaction with animals! He should also loose his job as a cop. If he reacted to his k-9 partner this violently then he doesn’t have the ability to handle mild stressful situations. If he had had any common sense in handling his k-9 partner I wouldn’t be commenting of this. Get rid of Corporal Timothy Robinson!

  12. Guarantee you he treats his wife and kids the same. FIRE him, and charge him w animal cruelty.

  13. First, native Utahan here and I am disgusted by this act of violence towards a police dog by his ‘handler’, a man with no empathy, compassion or, apparently, brains – FYI, jerk, actions have consequences and I hope yours will fit the crime. Second, that being said a lot of people think animals are brain dead clueless things, much like lawn furniture, and it’s unlikely he will get what he deserves. A Utah man found guilty of torturing a young bear for fun was given a slap on the wrist, his buddy in crime (from Florida) was given a stiff sentence by the Florida courts. Let’s see if Utah can issue a fitting punishment instead of just letting him off – because he’s a cop, ya know?

  14. Antonio D'cardoni says:

Rolf has endured three yrs. already of abuse with this POS because you know this isn’t the first time! However, your petition says “if true” it is true, just don’t want petition readers missing that point. There are witnesses. At the training camp witnesses saw the officer punching, yelling, and dragging the K9 Rolf up stairs out of the training facility. He should Never be allowed to have an animal again, terminate him, and charge him with animal abuse!

  15. Stephanie Geyser says:

Question: Is this psychotic jerk even cut-out to be a police officer, to start with?

  16. Timmothy Robbinson needs to lose his job as an officer. He is a danger to the oublic. He also should never be allowddto have any animals

  17. Susan Kulikowski says:

This so-called police man should be fired for beating his K9. He is nothing but
an abuser and should not be around any amimal or persons

  18. Pam Levernier says:

This POS officer must be charged with assaulting a fellow police officer!!!
They do the same work, but do not get pensions!
Jail time AND a hefty fine!
Set an example so that no other police dog is brutalized!!!

  19. Paula Long says:

He needs to be fired! He obviously is an abuser and has anger issues! Should never be allowed to be around any animals ever again!

  20. What The hell !!!! If I was one of those other people, I would be stopping him after the first hit !!

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR PUNCHING OR EVEN HITTING ANY DOG WHATSOEVER FOR PEEING ON THE FLOOR !!!! ITS JUST PEE FFS !!!!!
