Ban Fossil Fuels to Counter Global Warming

Target: Mr. Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica

Goal: Ban the use of fossil fuels for energy production and transition to renewable energy sources.

Climate change is one of the most significant challenges facing humanity today, and Jamaica is not immune to its devastating effects. The use of fossil fuels for energy production is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, which are the leading cause of global warming. To protect Jamaica’s environment and reduce its carbon footprint, we need to transition to renewable energy sources.

By transitioning to renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydro power, Jamaica can significantly reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and protect its environment. Renewable energy sources also have the potential to create new jobs and promote economic growth, as well as improve public health by reducing air pollution.

We urge Prime Minister Holness to ban the use of fossil fuels for energy production and implement policies that promote the transition to renewable energy sources. The future of Jamaica and our planet depends on it.

Sign below and demand Prime Minister Holness take action and support these efforts.

PETITION LETTER:

By transitioning to renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydro power, Jamaica can significantly reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and promote economic growth. Renewable energy sources also have the potential to improve public health by reducing air pollution.

We urge you to take immediate action and implement policies that promote the transition to renewable energy sources. Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.

Sincerely,
