The scene of this bloodbath is in the Spout Springs area of Appomattox County, Virginia. Veterinarians were rushed to the property to save the three wounded horses. When deputies from the Appomattox Sheriff’s Office arrived, they began an investigation.
After a full forensics investigation, detectives identified a juvenile suspect, who was soon arrested and taken into custody. Neither the owner of the horses, nor the name of the juvenile suspect have been released.

A massacre of horses has occurred in your jurisdiction. A juvenile stands accused of shooting eight horses in a stable. Five are dead and three are wounded.

So here we are again. A teenager shooting 8 horses. Due to his age there is a likelihood he will get off without punishment. This may seem unreasonable but the parents need to be dragged into this scenario as they had to know this kid was off balance. Where did he get the gun, was it loaded, where was it kept? The parents MUST answer for these crimes or we will never have an end to this type of murder. A psych Eva; is mandatory but a true and effective punishment is also mandatory! If parents have a loss of income, a house, a financially brutal end to meet due to their child killing, we will stop much of this horrible, inexcusable behavior. All must be taken to court and a jury must inflict proper punishment. Sad, but necessary.

Abusing or killing animals is one of the signs of a sociopath if not a psychopath and a HUGE warning flag of a potential SERIAL KILLER. Do NOT treat this lightly because he’s a juvenile. He should also be made to pay all vet bills to restore the wounded horses to full health and to pay for replacement horses for those he so callously dispatched.
