Goal: Seek maximum penalty for man accused of sexually abusing, torturing, and killing his pet cat.
A cat was reportedly restrained, sexually assaulted, and then tortured to death by her owner.
Evidence of this reported sexual assault came to light when a third party brought the deceased cat to the Asbury Park Police Department headquarters. This occurred over a period of months. He raped and tortured this poor cat over and over again. Restrained her by pulling her legs behind her back and handcuffed her. Before she died he cut off her tongue and lower jaw while she was still alive. When he killed her he threw her off a balcony like a piece of trash. He should have the same things done to him for the rest of his life. Hell is waiting for him.

Unless judges start using the maximum penalties, their deterrent value is negligible. I do wonder just how much worse a crime against an animal could actually be. What more would you have to do to a defenceless creature to warrant the maximum penalty?

I daren’t read all the details of this gory story as I have cats myself, and evil acts such as this are profoundly upsetting. From the very title alone however, it’s clear this wicked excuse for a human being desperately needs locking up, and the key to his cell tossed away. Sickness of the worst kind… an absolute ‘See you next Tuesday’. How is it even possible to rehabilitate someone like this? Optimistically, I hope that biotech advances in A.I. can get to the bottom of why some people have zero empathy and a need to force cruelty on other beings – and then perhaps enforce some cure, biologically-speaking.
