Goal: Demand that KFC live up to their animal welfare claims and stop supporting the abuse of chickens on their supply chain farms.
Following the release of a KFC promotional video assuring the public of their compliance with high animal welfare standards, disturbing footage of an actual KFC supply farm has surfaced. An undercover investigation of Park Farm North in England revealed the horrendous conditions which hundreds of thousands of chickens are apparently enduring.
In contrast to the promotional video’s depiction of the farm–which showed birds frolicking around a spacious shed, filled with fresh hay and bells for enrichment–chickens at the actual farm appeared to be tightly packed with tens of thousands of birds. These animals were seemingly walking among their own feces, with many being injured, sick, or dead. Bins standing outside of the shed were reportedly filled to the brim with corposes of chickens that had died from the neglect.
KFC’s apparent blatant public deception is disgusting, and it seems claims about their commitment to upholding animal welfare standards could not be further from the truth. Sign this petition to demand KFC stop lying to consumers and, instead, actually promote the health and safety of animals on their supply farms.

Dear CEO Sami,
Despite the glamorous portrayal of KFC supply farms, recently released footage taken at an actual supply seems to paint a different picture of the true nature of your company’s practices–and it is rather bleak. Instead of living in a spacious barn with access to enrichment toys and fresh hay covered floors, chickens at this farm in England appear to have been densely packed into a feces-ridden shed, with barely any space to move. Many of the animals were seemingly sick or injured, and dead birds’ corpses were littered all over the floor. Bins outside of the shed appeared to be overflowing with deceased chickens.
We are asking you, Mr. Sami, to stop deceiving the public with phony promotional clips and claims. Instead, why not actually uphold the animal welfare standards KFC so vehemently claims to follow?

Perhaps if people didn’t eat them, they wouldn’t be treated like this. Supply and demand, if nobody wants a KFC or similar rubbish food there would be no call for these unscrupulous suppliers. As it is, meat eaters are their own worst enemy.
If you go to all those savage humans in charge working at any animal, turkeys, chickens it’s usually some Pakistani or some Muslim in charge. You know how they feel about animals etc. They take out their hate and evil ways on animals. In the UK its them and in the US it’s the workers are coming across the border that’s where they all work in the i call it ”Horror house” I know Animal Investigators that take photos of animals being tortured and brutalize that will make you cry. I have seen it; most humans don’t want to see the brutality. But The Truth Will Set You Free. I don’t think this so call civilize society is really civilized. We are still in the ”Caveman days”
We are all God’s creatures big and small. I just don’t understand why anyone in their right mind would eat a murdered animal, chicken, turkey or any voiceless living being. Its evil and barbaric.

You really don’t want to see the abuse that goes on to the animals that are raised for our food consumsion! It’s a shame that food born animals can’t be treated compassionately and in clean areas with lots of room to move in. The FDA needs to set new standards for all the greedy food manufacturers and follow up!

We can only significantly help farmed animals by not eating them. Also, tell anyone who’ll listen about the torture their short lives are. Don’t support animal exploitation. There are now plenty of healthy, environment friendly, savory meat substitutes.
Maybe. But not everyone can eat that kind of stuff or be a vegetarian. I can’t. But, there is no excuse, except greed, for the way farm animals are treated. Today’s meat does not taste like it used to, too much stress going into it. We moved to Montana for a while in 1989. Stayed at my ex’s brother in-law’s ranch. He had a steer butchered that came from open pasture, no stress. That was the best meat I ever ate. They take care of their cattle. There is no good reason for what they do today. Meat eating is never going to stop. But they can help stop the cruelty.

There is only ONE way to truly stop the animal abuse that goes on in agribusiness and that is to STOP EATING ANIMALS. Even those of you who “say” you can’t be vegetarian or vegan can certainly make significant changes and cut down your consumption of animals by a lot. It is so easy today to eat a delicious plant-based diet, there is so much available that is healthier and doesn’t torture animals.
There is NO WAY to ever make any animal-killing business more humane. It’s a horrible business and it’s all about money. It will only stop when people do not support it by buying their products.

Anyone who has actually eaten at KFC knows that the health of their chickens can not be good. Nothing but bony and fatty chicken. Their chicken has not been good for many years so hearing about the conditions at Park Farm North in England does not surprise me.
Pamela Anderson raised this issue of cruelty many many years ago. I stopped eating KFC right then and there. Fuck KFC, look it up!
