Goal: Congratulate Mexico for choosing to eliminate a known carcinogen from daily use.
Mexico has successfully become the latest country to ban glyphosate, the main ingredient in pesticides like Roundup, from being used in the country. This is a huge win for environmental activists everywhere, as glyphosate is one of the worst pollutants used in common products today. The country has planned to phase out all usage of glyphosate by 2024.
Mexico’s President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has long since been opposed to using glyphosate in the country and even blocked a shipment of 1,000 pounds worth of Roundup back in 2019. The government, however, took extra time to ban the chemical altogether, citing the need for more intensive studies. Regardless of how long it took, the move is a huge win for Mexico and the natural wildlife it hosts. Thank President Obrador for leading the charge and taking this toxic chemical off store shelves.

Dear President Obrador,
Thank you for taking the initiative to create a better future for Mexico by banning glyphosate from being used. Roundup is one of the most harmful household products on the planet and banning it is the first step in the right direction toward restoring damage done to the environment. While there may be a long way to go, we congratulate you on taking the initiative toward healing the environment.
We hope that your move will inspire the United States and other countries who use glyphosate to follow in your footsteps, banning the chemical for good. Once this harmful chemical is out of production, the Earth will be that much closer to healing the damage done by chemical pollutants. Thank you again for taking the first step toward creating a better life for Mexico and all of the life the country hosts.

Good going, Mexico! The U.S. MUST FOLLOW.
It’s time for EVERY country to ban this horrible chemical and all other harmful chemicals. Almost every person tested has glyphosate in their bodies. It’s in the food we eat even in a nursing mother’s milk! It’s used in creating genetically modified foods (GMOs) and remains in the soil for many years. It’s time to quit poisoning ourselves and other creatures.
My neighbors use this hideous poison. One day I see bunnies hopping and playing in their yards, and the next day their little bodies litter their lawns, Because the lawns were sprayed with this poison. The wierd thing is, they don’t see a problem with this at all. When I objects to the man spraying my neighbor’s lawn while the wind carried it to my yard, he just smirked like I was a lunatic for complaining. I think it is insane to poison the land we require for life and health.
