Target: Thomas Mengler, President of St. Mary’s University
Goal: Praise university for ending cruel starvation experiments on animals.
For quite some time, St. Mary’s University was reportedly allowing a professor to starve animals to death in order to study the effects. Professor Marshall McCue reportedly starved mice, rats, quails, sparrows, snakes, geckos, fish and toads for extended periods of time. Thankfully, the university has put a stop to this after hearing from thousands of concerned people, including those at ForceChange.
The university’s president has confirmed these experiments have ended. After years of this cruel research, all Professor McCue learned was that these starved animals suffer physiological effects, which is common knowledge. When the experiments were done, the animals were gassed to death as they were no longer useful to Professor McCue.
Sign this petition and praise St. Mary’s University for finally ending these cruel, useless experiments.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear President Mengler,
Recently, you have taken a stand for animals and put an end to Professor Marshall McCue’s starvation experiments. I was ecstatic to hear this news.
Professor McCue reportedly starved many animals, including rats, mice, fish, geckos, toads, snakes, sparrows, and quails. Reportedly, he even refused to put bedding in the animals’ cages, fearing they would eat it out of desperation. Thankfully, animals will no longer have to needlessly suffer in these experiments.
Thank you for putting an end to these experiments. Now countless animals will be spared from this unnecessary pain and death.
Sincerely,
[Your Name Here]
