City mayor Jim Kenney has pledged that an estimated $90 million will be generated in the next year, and this money will go directly towards the improvement of schools, community centers, and recreation centers. The tax is expected to generate $386 million over the next five years, meaning the city will have plenty of opportunities to help the community.
