Success: New Breakthrough in Cancer Research

Target: Dr. Sergio Quezada

Goal: Applaud Dr. Quezada’s accomplishments in cancer research that could lead to a universal treatment.

Recently a collaboration of doctors has discovered a new way to treat cancer cells. It focuses on killing the origin of the cancer cell rather than killing the specific strain of cancer. For many years, the biggest obstacle was the fact that a tumor’s cancer cells are not the same. Cancer tumors are an evolving mass. The mutations would constantly be changing and so many cancer remedies would tend to focus on a single aspect of the tumor. The body’s immune system, alongside the cancer treatments, will struggle with killing the tumor.

Thanks to petitions such as those found on ForceChange, efforts have been made to find treatments. Research has shown that the best way to kill cancer cells is to use the body’s natural immune system and have it target the weakest spot in a patient’s tumor. This would completely wipe out the spreading cancer cells.

This research could lead to two different types of treatment: vaccines customized to target the core mutations in each patient or identifying which immune cells can fight off core mutation, then multiplying those cells in a lab. Sign the petition below to applaud Dr. Quezada’s and his collaborators’ research.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Dr. Quezada,

The research that was conducted by you and your collaborators can bring hope to patients who have been diagnosed with cancer. This research can finally bring about a cure that works for all people and can bring down the death toll of cancer significantly. Chemotherapy will no longer have to be used and patients will no longer have to suffer the traumatizing side effects. This research can even create vaccines that prevent cancer and can help us understand what causes cancer in the first place.

Although the process might start off slowly, eventually doctors will have enough experience to create a personalized vaccine quickly. The treatment would likely work best for patients with melanoma and lung cancer and could potentially branch out to cure other dangerous cancers.

With enough time and patience, cancer can easily become a thing of the past. Families will no longer have to put themselves into financial ruin to pay for chemotherapy and other expensive cancer treatments. I would like to applaud you and your collaborators for discovering a possible cure for cancer and for working to save the lives of millions in the future.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
