Reportedly, law enforcement officials cited the lack of essential water and food as a gross case of neglect, as many animals had not been seen eating or drinking for days, with extreme summer conditions exacerbating their plight.
Upon investigating a neighbor’s report, detectives from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reportedly discovered empty containers and visibly suffering animals.
