Justice for Jonathan Hoang: Demand Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Treat His Disappearance as a Crime

Target: Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, FBI, Washington State Patrol,

We, the undersigned, call for immediate action regarding the disappearance of Jonathan Hoang, a 21-year-old with autism from Arlington, WA. On March 30, 2025, Jonathan went missing under suspicious circumstances—yet, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) has failed to treat this case as a potential crime or kidnapping.

Jonathan’s family deserves answers, and the community deserves protection. His disappearance is not a mere missing persons case—it is a serious situation that must be addressed with urgency.

We demand the following:

1. SCSO must treat Jonathan Hoang’s disappearance as a crime/kidnapping and act accordingly. This includes launching a full investigation with the necessary resources and urgency.

2. An interagency task force should be established, involving both Washington State Patrol and the FBI, to ensure this case receives the attention and resources it deserves. If this cannot be achieved, we demand that SCSO relinquish jurisdiction to the appropriate authorities who can lead this investigation with the necessary expertise and commitment.

Jonathan’s family and the community are counting on swift and decisive action. The time for complacency has passed. We urge the SCSO to take immediate action to bring Jonathan home and hold accountable anyone responsible for his disappearance.

Join us in demanding justice for Jonathan Hoang.

  1. Do you realize the number of children and people who go missing daily is VERY high numbers. There is only so much time they can dedicate to each case with NO leads. While they should fully investigate more, they just do not have the time or manpower to put into each case. This is what you get when you cut funding to police departments. Vote for those that will fully fund the department in order to get more time to each case.
