A terrifying event of alleged animal cruelty has emerged in Albany involving Latisha Ellis and Christopher Maxwell that must be addressed with the utmost seriousness. Reports indicate that on February 24, 2025, authorities discovered a deceased one-year-old female Pit bull in a crate, tragically set on fire after being left without food or water for days. It would have been better to just let the innocent dog go loose, then leave it confined to a crate, no food or water then take it to a parking lot and set it on fire. Whatever crime is committed against an animal who can suffer exactly like us, the Law should also be equivalent. There is no possible reason for this senseless cruelty. Take the dog to the shelter. I cannot imagine the suffering this poor dog went through.
