Applaud British Troops for Helping Save Elephants from Slaughter

Target: The British Army

Goal: Thank British troops for their help in saving Kenyan elephants from being slaughtered by terrorists.

Recently, British troops have been deployed to Kenya to help save elephants from being slaughtered by terrorists, who are killing the elephants in order to obtain their valuable tusks. The UK Daily News has reported that a notorious group linked to Al Qaeda is said to be funding their trainings by selling these elephant tusks on the black market. The selling of elephant tusks is a cruel and lucrative business in South Africa. With such a high demand from other countries, including China, Africa has to keep up with the demand. The sale of the elephant tusks is reportedly worth approximately 12 billion euros per year. Just in the past year, 60,000 elephants have been illegally killed for their tusks.

Although there are policies put in place against the selling of ivory, the laws are not usually enforced and become too lenient to be effective in any way. It seems that the only way to save African elephants is by banning the sale of ivory completely. Although more needs to be done to stop this business of selling elephants tusks, the British troops are making a closer step toward that goal. The new initiative, which is backed up by Prince William, is said to train Kenyan Wildlife services to patrol better to protect the elephants. Sign this petition to help us thank the British Army in their efforts to save the elephants in Kenya.

Dear British Troops,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your efforts to save Kenyan elephants from poachers and terrorists who are killing these poor elephants and selling their tusks to the black market. It is not easy to stop such a lucrative business, but with your help, we are at least one step closer in doing so. Over the years, these poachers have found new tactics for killing these elephants. The ivory market is always in high demand, so it will be difficult to crack down on the exact number of people involved in this line of business. Standing up for the animals in Kenya is a very morally responsible goal for the British army.

Thank you for your help in bringing this devastating issue to the forefront of the U.S. Congress. This is a very noble and courageous use of the British Army. Hopefully your labor will help put away the elephant poachers for good and create a better life for the Kenyan elephants.
