Target: Founders of ProCreate: Rob Goldman, Aron Korney, Jeremy McKnight
Goal: Connect rising film, music, fine arts, and digital artists with each other
Procreate is an online community of creative minds who want to collaborate on projects related to film, music, fine arts and digital arts. A year ago, there was no centralized platform for creative minds to connect. However, this changed when three friends came together to establish a forum for this purpose. Supporting ProCreate allows more passionate and innovative people to showcase their visions, paving the way for higher quality media and carving out avenues for more creative expression.
ProCreate has a strong focus on the concept of “community,” hosting mixers that allow individuals to meet each other in person and support each other as they move forward with their art. This sets it apart from more corporate agencies. Rather than functioning as an agency, ProCreate prides itself in being first and foremost a community – the first of its kind in what has traditionally been a cutthroat atmosphere.
The ProCreate community helps to keep its 700 members up to date on the latest industry news, in addition to circulating open jobs. Although ProCreate is in its infancy, the rapid pace at which it is growing suggests that it will be playing with the big boys soon enough. The minds behind it have a clear vision and enough passion to sustain exponential growth. Sign this petition and support this haven for artistic expression and creativity.
Dear Founders of ProCreate:
This letter wishes to commend you for creating ProCreate and helping forthcoming artists to make their mark on the entertainment industry. As online media has gained viewership over the more traditional forms of cable television, the means by which that media is produced has evolved alongside it. Whereas before, film production was a craft strictly reserved to large studios, today anyone with passion and vision can make a production.
ProCreate is also helping to open up avenues for individuals pursuing music, fine arts, and digital arts. By encouraging its members to collaborate with one another, they can obtain end results that are more multifaceted and intriguing than what would have been possible if completed alone. Already, ProCreate has ushered in teams that have become finalists in film festivals, who have showcased their digital media in well-trafficked sites, earned accolades in music, and have been recognized in the fine arts. By supporting ProCreate’s efforts, the hope is that the world will continue to see richer and more passionate work like the kind your community has already released.
