Fire Judge for Insulting Rape Victim and Suspending Rapist’s Rightful Sentence

Target: Montana Governor Steve Bullock

Goal: Fire judge for hideous comments and outrageous ruling in favor of admitted pedophile

Judge G. Todd Baugh is a stain on our criminal justice system. Not only did he recently suspend nearly the entire fifteen-year sentence of an admitted pedophile who raped a thirteen-year-old girl, but he made the incredible and completely nonsensical comments about the child, saying that she was “as much in control of the situation” as her fifty-four-year-old rapist, and that she was “older than her chronological age” as some winking reference to the tired old-world conception that girls should stay in their place, do what they’re told, and never hint at sexuality or else a boogie man will come, evidently in the form of a lecherous old man. The girl committed suicide while the trial was pending.

Stacey Rambold is the entirely guilty pedophile who raped his student, Cherice Morales. He betrayed the trust of the school, the public, and most importantly, of a troubled and confused young girl, parlaying his position of authority over her into a non-consensual relationship because she was too young to consent to anything. He was charged and found guilty of “sexual intercourse without consent,” a contradictory phrase you may note as completely misleading when the proper term is actually “rape.” Judge G. Todd Baugh, noting this man’s complete and utter guilt of torturing and manipulating a minor, proceeded to suspend all but thirty-one days of the man’s rightful fifteen year sentence, with one day already served.

A pedophile is about to serve a month in prison for the heinous actions that helped drive a child to suicide because a judge has a chip on his shoulder about girls becoming women with autonomy and sexuality. This judge believes that men are entirely within their rights to destroy the lives of troubled children because he resents young girls and their audacity to exist as whole human beings.

Please sign this petition to have this biased and bigoted judge fired for his reckless actions that set a dangerous man free to abuse our children.

Dear Governor Steve Bullock,

Please fire Judge G. Todd Baugh. Please remove him from his position of authority over Montana citizens. He has proven himself a disgrace to his title, and a disgrace to the criminal justice system of this great nation.

He has made insulting, offensive, and completely nonsensical comments about the late Cherice Morales, the thirteen-year-old rape victim who committed suicide while the trial to put her rapist behind bars was pending. Then, to add insult to injury, he suspended all but 31 days of her rapist’s fifteen-year sentence. His more recent actions seem to suggest that he is not even sure suspending the sentence was even legal.

Judge G. Todd Baugh is unworthy to pass judgment on anything but his own egregious actions, which he should have ample leisure time to consider once you fire this hateful, bigoted man.
