Reprimand Political Group for Sexist, Abusive Game

Target: The Hillary Project

Goal: Reprimand GOP group for abusive and sexist game

A super PAC named The Hillary Project has recently taken it upon themselves to debut for a 2nd time the game  “Slap Hillary.” The basic rules are as follows: every time Hillary Clinton speaks you slap her. It is appalling and abusive in every way  to promote a game that uses violence against women to propagate a “war” on Hillary Clinton. Reprimand the Hillary Project for posting such repugnant content on their website.

Violence against women is a real war that is still waging rampantly across the planet, It is not deemed suitable to wage fake wars on women in political positions to avoid presidency. There is no level of conscious morality displayed in this distasteful game which is partnered with other disrespectful games such as “Make Hillary Dance” and a street fighting game starring President Obama and Hillary Clinton. The latter further displaying the groups support of violence against women.

It’s distasteful to individually single out a woman and use abusive tactics to start a war against her. It is obvious that because of Hillary’s popularity the group is expressing a feeling of inferiority and fear for the presidential election coming up in 2016. Hillary Clinton is currently more than likely to become the Democratic party’s candidate and it is putting Republicans in the hot seat. Reacting in a manner that seems more like acting out is less than mature or harmless in this case. If violence against women is taken lightly or confused as a game in United States politics it will not be taken seriously in any other element of this country or any other. By signing this petition you are reprimanding The Hillary Project for distastefully reintroducing the “Slap Hillary” game.

Dear The Hillary Project,

It is unacceptable to make it a trend to slap women, literally or through the internet. It is impossible to ignore the enormous amount of violence against women occurring globally. It is in my opinion that your ill-mannered decision to reintroduce “Slap Hillary” exemplifies your support of violence against women. It was a blatant form of disrespect not only to Hillary Clinton, but to women internationally as well. I believe that you should acknowledge your mistake and apologize to Hillary Clinton as well as women every where.

It is unnatural to believe that it is okay for a group of people to target and wage war on a woman out of fear for presidency. It is not a game to express violence against women as a funny or enthralling pastime while real women in the world are not going through such “viral” experiences. In our world we are constantly encountering many cases of violence against women, whether it be domestic violence, rape, or acid throwing. It’s unacceptable to propagate the violence against women with a game.

I strongly disagree with your decision to help a sexist, violent game reemerge on the internet. It was a sign of poor judgement and it is brutally harmful to the progress of the United States, and the rest of the world, in the battle of violence against women. I strongly implore that you make a public apology to Mrs. Clinton and women around the globe for showing such heinous support of a global issue. Alongside with your apology I suggest you take down “Slap Hillary” and, more reasonably, your entire site.

This ‘game’ just sounds too stupid, regardless of who you slap.
