Demand Justice for Victims of Disturbing Double Murder

Target: Mike Trafton, Joliet Police Chief

Goal: Demand justice for victims of vicious double homicide.

Recently, two Joliet, Illinois men were found dead in the home of a woman who, along with three companions, is currently a suspect in the gruesome double homicide.

Eric Glover and Terrence Rankins, both 22, were apparently lured to 18-year-old Alisa Massaro’s home with the promise of a party and video games. Upon arrival, the victims were robbed of their cash and strangled without the use of a ligature. The four suspects allegedly continued to party and play video games after the murder. They attempted to dismember the bodies, purportedly jumped and danced on the corpses, and then hog-tied the victims’ hands and feet together with dirty clothes and electrical cords. Three of the suspects confessed to having engaged in sexual intercourse over the corpses.

Joliet Police Chief Mike Trafton told reporters that it was one of the most “brutal, heinous and upsetting things” he had ever witnessed. The bodies were discovered following an anonymous tip that two bodies could be found at the site of Massaro’s home. The two men were found with plastic bags over their heads two days after their death, and may have been suffocated in addition to being strangled. The four suspects have been charged with six counts of first-degree murder.

This despicable crime shows a devastating lack of respect for human life. Not only were the victims brutally murdered, their bodies were used and abused even after death. The four suspects displayed a startling amount of sociopathic vulgarity. The two victims were allegedly friends of the four suspects, and had been premeditatively lured into Alisa Massaro’s home before their murder. Sign the petition below to express your horror over these disturbing murders, and to demand justice for the two victims and their families.

Dear Mike Trafton,

You described the recent Joliet, Illinois double homicide of two young men as “brutal” and “heinous.” The two victims were lured into a friends’ house with the promise of a party. There they were robbed, murdered, and their corpses severely abused. The alleged actions of the four suspects suggest severely sociopathic tendencies, particularly in light of the claim that the victims had been premeditatively lured into the house where they were later killed.

I appreciate the steps you have already taken in the investigation of this case. I cannot imagine how difficult it must have been to see the scene of the crime. I am writing today to ask that the four suspects be offered no leniency and that the utmost diligence and dedication be put into their prosecution. They felt no compassion for the two men they so disturbingly murdered, and should be offered no compassion in return.
