Dogs Reportedly Starved, Tied to Trees, and Abandoned Deserve Justice

Target: Genesee County, Michigan Prosecuting Attorney David Leyton

Goal: Give man prison sentence for allegedly starving eight dogs and leaving them to die.

Christopher Hatchet was arrested after he allegedly neglected eight dogs for over a week. He needs to be given time in prison if it is found he harmed these animals to better ensure other dogs will not go through a similar ordeal.

A dog named Thrax was reportedly leashed up to a tree and was said to have lost circulation as a result of the leash being wrapped too tightly around one of her left legs. Thrax’s leg had to be amputated because of the alleged incident. In addition, all the dogs were reportedly malnourished.

The dogs are currently in custody of Genesee County Animal Control and are now eligible for adoption. Hatchet is currently being charged with two counts of animal abuse as well as one count of being a habitual offender. Sign this petition to demand these innocent dogs receive justice if it is discovered Hatchet neglected or abused them in any way.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Prosecuting Attorney Leyton,

Eight dogs were allegedly abandoned and left to fend for themselves for over seven days. Christopher Hatchet was arrested on animal cruelty charges shortly afterwards. It is important he receive a tough legal sentence if it is found he neglected these dogs so that other animals will be less likely to endure the same fate.

All of the dogs were reportedly emaciated when officers arrived on the scene, and one dog named Thrax was said to be tied to a tree with the leash wrapped tightly around one of her left legs. A veterinarian had to amputate Thrax’s leg because of the damage apparently caused by the leash.

The dogs are now up for adoption at the Genesee County Animal Control facility. Hatchet was reportedly arrested for displaying animal cruelty, torturing another animal, and for also being a habitual offender. For these reasons, I demand you suggest Hatchet be required to spend the maximum amount of time in prison if it is found these dogs suffered while under his care.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

  2. Veronica Figueiredo says:

It caught my attention this bastard is an “habitual offender”. What kind court room is the one who was found guilty and ALLOWED him to still have animals???!!!! The judge and the prosecutor should be found as guilty as this SOB. Throw him in jail among animal lovers inmates and let he be found stabbed to death in prison. Karma is a bitch!!!!

  3. Hatchet definitely deserves punishment. He need never own or be near another animal of any kind. I’ll bet he’s a real “winner” – one of these who thinks he’s a real tough guy. Hope he carries that attitude to prison; he’ll probably need it there. Seriously though, punishments are going to have to be handed out to jerks who do things like this or it will never stop!

  4. Christopher HATCHET????? I’d like to take a hatchet to his fucking face. Bastard.

  5. This human needs to have the favor returned!!!

I suggest part of this SCUMBAGS punishment would be to amputate both of his legs (one for good measure) for the harm he has caused these innocent animals. There is NO excuse for this type of behavior!!!!! I wish him a lifetime of pain and misery!!! To his little victims I wish you all the best life has to offer after the torture they have been put through…

  7. There should be a lawyer for animals that have been abused. A lawyer should represent these animals and sue every animal abuser plus jail time

This low life evil piece of shit needs jail time or the nearest mental institution for horrific animal cruelty. So, this creature is a repeat offender and he’s allowed to accumulate all these dogs to torture? He needs to pay for all medical and boarding for his dogs and seize all property and vehicles to pay for their care. Justice must be served. This one needs to go.

This POS needs to be locked-up immediately! He is a sick, sadistic, and psychotic menace to society!

  10. Habitual offender! AUTHORITIES, DO YOUR JOB!!! This evil monster must be held accountable and the innocent protected!
Prosecute to the maximim, ensure prison and a national life time ban from owning or being in the presence of any animal.
To you Hatchet, may Karma come for you, I wish for you to be rejected by all family and friends that you may care for and you lose all that you hold dear. A special place in Hell has been reserved especially for you, may you rot there for eternity

  11. Susan Kulikowski says:

Hachett deserves 8 counts of animal cruelty. There were 8 dogs that were neglected. This POS deserves to be in jail for a very long time and should never own or be in the vicinity of any animal ever again. He’s not to be trusted and I would keep him away from children, too. The animal abuse laws are not very strong and every state should strengthen the animal abuse laws to keep low-lifes like Hatchett away from vulnerable animals

  12. Put SCUMBAG LOWLIFE Christopher Hatchet behind bars for 20 years MINIMUM. Allow other inmates to sodomize him daily! DO NOT let Christopher Hatchet own another animal again.

  13. Elease M. Bradford says:

Christopher Hatchet is a slimy, snake for neglecting and abusing these innocent animals. He needs to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I wish these fur babies a speedy recovery and I hope they get justice.

  14. Stephanie Geyser says:

And I bet he continued to stuff his fat cakehole, while his dogs starved. I wonder how he treats his children (God forbid that he ever breeds his own sperm).

  15. Tie this CRUEL ASSHOLE TO A TREE AND DO NOT GIVE IT ANY FOOD OR WATEE FOR THE REST OF HIS MISERABLE LIFE!!!!!

  16. Eye for an eye justice is what needs done!!

  17. Maria Bertrand says:

HABITUAL OFFENDER!! ….AGAIN THE LAW FAILED!!!!! WHILE WERE THE DOGS NOT TAKEN AWAY AFTER FIRST OFFENCE?????

JAIL HIM..BAN HIM FOR LIFE….WHICH SHOULD OF BEEN DONE AFTER FIRST OFFENCE AND FINE THE HELL OUT OF HIM!!!! TO HELP WITH ALL THESE SWEET DOGS THAT WERE ABUSED!!!!!!

THE LAW IS AS GUILTY AS ALL THESE MANIACAL OFFENDERS!!!! START GETTING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

WHAT A DEMENTED WORLD ….WHEN THIS IS ALLOWED TO KEEP HAPPENING!

  18. “The only difference between a dog, cat, horse and dolphin and a cow, chicken, pig and turkey is perception. One is no more valuable than another. And yet in this culture, we hold the former animals in high esteem and the latter we brutalize for food. All animals are deserving of respect and freedom from violence. The way to respect others is veganism.”

  19. This cruel, evil punk needs to be tightly chained to a very secure metal pole and forgotten….He needs to be removed from society as he is a menace to animals and humans. IN MY OPINION

  20. Laura Rolder says:

Lock this evil monster away for max sentence for each innocent animal who suffered do to him. No more excuses for animal abusers they must not be allowed to live in society so other animals will get abused. Justice needs to be served and lets cut his leg off he deserves what he did to these poor dogs.
