Goal: Find and arrest person responsible for abusing and abandoning sick dog.
A terribly abused dog, described by Michelle Holsinger, one of the rescuers as the “worst thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” was found wandering the streets. A passerby was walking in the Lehigh Acres area in Lee County, Florida, when they spotted the poor creature wandering aimlessly and called authorities.
The two-year-old dog, named Khaleesi, was picked up by Mutty Paws Rescue and provided medical care. It was determined that Khaleesi was infested with hookworm and was severely malnourished and underweight.
The rescuer stated, “when I tell you when I saw her, like, you can’t help but cry.”
Fortunately, Khaleesi is on the slow road to recovery, but she is still incredibly vulnerable. “She just wants you to hold her,” Holsinger said. “And the second you go to walk away, she just looks at you with her eyes. And it’s like, ‘come back.'”

A dog named Khaleesi was recently rescued in your county. Khaleesi was found wandering the streets aimlessly and was sick and incredibly malnourished. A passing bystander called authorities who rescued Khaleesi.

How humans can be so cruel and not look after their beloved pets is beyond horrific. Thank you to the wonderful angel who stopped and made sure this sweet vulnerable dog received the help she needed. Find and prosecute the monster who left this poor baby to die.

There are a lot of heartless scumbags out there that turn their ignorant heads to ppor helpless animals like this. This poor dog would have surely died if not picked up when he was. How inexcusable and unacceptable these things are. It is our responsibility to care for all of our other living feeling beings – they are the VOICELESS. We hope that this poor dog recovers fully and that the “inhuman” person that allowed this dog to get to this sickly state AND abandoned him gets identified, found, and punished SEVERELY for the pain, suffering and TRAUMA he or she put upon this poor animal.

Unfortunately, this is Florida = selfish republican hell, where manatees are being extinguished for motorboating pleasure, everglades changed into sugarcane, seas swept empty (i was a child diving in the Keys, and know of the immense devastation done) by grubby fishkillers for pleasure, and now home to the worst person ever known to have existed – and you KNOW who that is.

Yes. Few years ago i caught two elderly white women dump thier cat near a feral cat colony and rescuer i know. The rescuer took the cat and adopted it. Saw them from a block away as they drove off. I called them every name in the book.

Find and PROSECUTE the heartless monster who abandoned this poor dog to the fullest extent of the law for egregious animal cruelty and neglect.. Animal abandonment should be a CRIME! Make him or her PAY ALL VET BILLS to restore this poor soul to full health. If you own an animal, you have a moral and ethical obligation to properly care for it; if you’re unwilling or unable to do so, you have a moral and ethical obligation to surrender it to an individual or an organization that can.
