End the Ruthless Slaughter of Whales in Taiji, Japan and Worldwide!

Target: ,Japan Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; Taiji Fisheries Cooperative,

Three whales in a six-week period have been mercilessly killed by Taiji, Japan Fishermen in “The Cove.”

Despite WORLDWIDE requests for rescue, a juvenile minke whale was trapped in the Taiji fishing nets for 19
days–suffering and starving. Instead of rescuing the whale, the Taiji fishermen brutally tortured and drowned it
for 2o minutes as they laughed–in open defiance of the world.

The most recent innocent defenseless victim was a humpback whale that suffered, starved and died while entangled
in the nets.

An estimated 300,000 whales, porpoises and dolphins, including those pregnant, are killed each year in the
ruthless commercial fishing trade. Many are brutally driven and cornered by the fishermen into places of inescapable slaughter.

IT IS A WORLWIDE RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE THIS STOP! In the words of the Great Gandhi, “A nation is
judged by the way it treats its animals!” THE WORLD IS WATCHING!
