Ban U.S. Weapon Sales to Saudi Arabia

Target: President-elect Joe Biden

Goal: Ban weapon sales to Saudi Arabia.

The conflict in Yemen is one that has escalated to atrocious extremes due to U.S. intervention. By selling deadly weapons to Saudi-Arabia, the U.S. is responsible for turning civil unrest into civil war. Civilians are facing famine, disease, economic collapse, and bombing without discretion. Last year, Saudi Arabia dropped a bomb on a Yemeni school bus that killed 44 children.

The war could not have reached the point of destruction that it has without U.S. intervention. Saudi Arabia is known to violate human rights and jail activists and has created the worst humanitarian crisis in the world by way of the U.S. support and supply of weapons. This must stop. Sign the petition to demand a ban on the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia once and for all.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear President-elect Biden,

The last two U.S. Presidents were proud to make billion-dollar weapon sales to Saudi Arabia in support of their continued abuse of human rights. Since the U.S intervention in Yemen, experts and advocates have urged the U.S. to withdraw from the conflict. It would not be what it is today without the weapons, intelligence, and ground support provided by the U.S.

Saudi Arabia is known to jail activists, abuse human rights, and drop bombs without discretion, killing millions of innocent people. Those bombs were developed in the States, and the money made in those weapon sales is stained with innocent blood. Do not be the third U.S. president to empower a nation in the act of committing war crimes. Ban the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia and disarm the war in Yemen.

Sincerely,
