Justice for 35 Dogs Allegedly Left Imprisoned and Neglected in Backyard

Target: Amy Weirich, District Attorney, Shelby County, TN

Goal: Charge man who allegedly kept over 30 dogs starving and injured to the fullest extent of the law.

Thirty-five dogs were found in a Memphis, TN, backyard, having allegedly been neglected and subjected to an immense amount of suffering. Sign the petition to demand that the man reportedly responsible for this cruelty be charged to the fullest extent the law will allow.

The dogs were reportedly confined in illegal hutches without food or water. Several were reported to have lacerations. Neighbors say they knew there were dogs on the property after hearing the sounds of barking. However, it was not until they saw one dog dangling from the yard’s chain link fence by its collar that they realized something was severely amiss.

The home’s owner, who is unnamed at this time, faces cruelty charges while the dogs look for new forever families. It is not currently known why the man reportedly owned so many dogs, but similar cases have often pointed to illegal breeding, illegal transport, fighting, and more. Demand that the man reportedly responsible for this cruelty be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Weirich,

Over 30 dogs were rescued from what authorities described as horrific conditions. They were allegedly kept in outdoor sheds, chained, and left without food or water. One’s attempted escape alerted neighbors to their presence and to the cruelty they reportedly faced.

The man allegedly responsible now faces animal cruelty charges. I ask that he be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law will allow so that no other innocent animal is harmed.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

This was a deliberate act of outrageous cruelty and total disregard for these
animals. Please charge these people and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

  2. Milantia Roy says:

THAT MAN SHOULD BE SENT DIRECTLY TO JAIL FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS … OR CHAINED AND LEFT WITHOUT FOOD OR WATER IN THE SAME MANNER THE DOGS WERE FOUND.
    WHAT A DESPICABLE BASTARD!

“The home’s owner, who is unnamed at this time…”
and JUST WHY IS THAT? He needs to be identified, exposed and held accountable for his disgusting neglect of these poor animals! Get his name out here & get him punished, damn him!!!!
    SIGNED & SHARED!!!

  4. This evil abuser needs to be punished under the PACT ACT. It is now a federal crime to abuse any animal punishable by imprisonment. There are many inmates in prison that do not take kindly to child or animal abusers. Proverbs 12:10

  5. Instigation of the death penalty must be performed internationally on all animal abusers. A slow and agonising death for these scumbags is essential. Prison is not appropriate.
