Goal: Protect citizens from the surge in COVID-19 cases by extending mask mandates across Maricopa County.
As states across America experience their highest increases in COVID-19 infections since spring, one county in Arizona is wondering whether masks should stay or go. Maricopa County officials are set to vote on whether or not they should extend the mandatory mask order they implemented in June. Demand that the supervisors put science and public safety before politics.
Over four million residents live in Maricopa County, which includes major cities like Phoenix and Scottsdale, as well as Arizona State University. If mask mandates were to be lifted, millions of lives would be put at risk. Even the president of ASU has pleaded with supervisors to keep the mandate in place. Despite the controversy surrounding masks, research has shown that COVID cases in the state decreased by over 75 percent once mask orders began.
Arizona, and America, are not out of the woods yet. As we approach flu season, COVID numbers will only grow worse before they become better. Extending the mask mandate now, before it is too late, will save countless lives in Arizona and beyond. Show your support for such an extension.

I’m in NYC and I’m in the “vulnerable” population and have never worn a mask until recently under duress to enter stores to shop. I’m keeping up with the information from frontline doctors and the CDC regarding mask-wearing. I suggest you do the same, but you probably won’t because fearful people like you have become wedded to you masks and you get off on the superiority of saying “listen to the science.” You’ll NEVER take the muzzles off because you’re enjoying the fear porn. You’re wearing the mask as a political emblem of wokeness. You’re depriving your brain of oxygen.

We have a bunch of imbeciles, ignorant people out there, including law officials who fail to understand Covid 19 mainly transmit through saliva droplets, mostly from talking, sneezing, screaming, singing etc. A mask is first line defense against this highly contagious disease. I had never imagine there was so much ignorance in America until now.
