Punish Man Accused of Burning Dog With Hairdryer and Breaking Leg

Target: Frank J. Milos, City Solicitor, Pawtucket, RI

Goal: Prosecute man who allegedly burned dog with hairdryer to the fullest extent the law will allow.

A man in Rhode Island allegedly burned a dog with a hairdryer on purpose before breaking the animal’s leg. This cruelty cannot go unpunished. Demand justice for this innocent animal so horribly abused.

James Kelly was arrested by Pawtucket police after he brought his two-year old female dog to the veterinarian’s office for a fractured leg. Veterinarians believe the injury was inflicted on purpose in an act of malice. They also noticed a large burn on the dog’s side, reportedly caused by a hairdryer.

Kelly now faces two felony cruelty charges, $1,000 in fines, and potentially five years in prison for his alleged cruelty. If these charges prove true, he should not be given a simple slap on the wrist. Sign the petition to ask the area’s prosecutor to seek the harshest penalties the law will allowed.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Solicitor Milos,

An innocent pet dog was allegedly tortured by her owner. James Kelly reportedly burned her with a hairdryer before breaking her leg, for no reason other than that he could. This cruelty cannot go unpunished.

For his reported crimes, Kelly faces two felony cruelty charges, $1,000 in fines, and five years in prison. I ask that you prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law so that no other animal is subjected to just cruelty.

Sincerely,

The more I get to know humans, the more I detest this repulsive race. First, I hope they throw the POS in prison, Then, please ensure the poor dog finds a loving home.

  2. Shirley Lemieux says:

I am thrilled to hear that James Kelly faces two felony cruelty charges, and rightfully so. He should serve prison time as well for these cruel and intentional acts of animal cruelty. Taking advantage of hurting an individual or animal of smaller and lesser strength is also referred to as bullying and that is exactly the type of people who commit these acts. They are bullies and cowards.

  3. Charge him with the maximum felony animal cruelty charges and make sure he serves every single second….too many judges don’t take animal abuse seriously and let these scumbags off with a slap on the wrist!

  4. WHAT A DISGUSTING CRUEL THING TO DO TO AN ANIMAL! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE WHO DO THESE KINDS OF HORRIBLE THINGS TO ANIMALS!! HE IS AN EVIL MONSTER, A LOW-LIFE HEARTLESS SCUMBAG. A DIRTY ROTTEN LOW-LIFE HEARTLESS SCUMBAG. HE NEEDS TO BE SEVERELY PUNISHED FOR THE PAIN, SUFFERING AND TRAUMA HE CAUSED THIS POOR HELPLESS DOG. THIS IS JUST DESPICABLE AND SICKENING AND UNCONSCIONABLE. THIS IS INFURIATING.
