Dog Allegedly Kept Outside Starving With Large Tumor Deserves Justice

Target: Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha

Goal: Give woman who allegedly left sick dogs outside and refused to provide them with proper veterinary care harsh legal sentence.

Two pit-bull type dogs were allegedly found underweight, and one dog was said to have a massive growth on one of her hind legs. Amanda Medeiros was charged shortly afterwards for animal cruelty and for not providing her dogs with adequate veterinary care. She needs to receive a strict legal sentence if she is found guilty of this inexcusable animal cruelty.

Reports state an 8-year-old dog named Remy was so emaciated, you could see his bones through his fur. Authorities said he had no muscle mass or fat. A 5-year-old dog named Beni was also allegedly underweight and being forced to live outside in the harsh elements with a tumor weighing down one of her back legs. The RISPCA (Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) immediately took custody of the dogs and brought them to an emergency veterinary facility. Sign this petition to demand Medeiros receive a strong punishment under the law if it is discovered that she committed these unfounded acts of animal abuse.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Attorney General Neronha,

Amanda Medeiros was recently charged for allegedly leaving her dogs outside for an unspecified amount of time and for not getting them needed medical care. She needs to spend time in prison if it is found she committed these unwarranted crimes to better ensure other animals will not have to endure the same fate.

An 8-year-old dog named Remy was said to be so thin, you could easily see his bones. He reportedly did not have any fat or muscle mass. Another 5-year-old-dog named Beni was allegedly also too skinny and had a large tumor on one of her back legs. The dogs were seized by the RISPCA and taken to an emergency veterinary clinic. We demand you seek a tough penalty under the law if Medeiros is found guilty of these charges so that other animals will be less likely to suffer.

Sincerely,

  1. Linda Hilty-Tuttle says:

Oh how I wish animal abusers, like AMANDA MEDEIROS, could change places with their animals & be forced to see how their treatment REALLY feels—-kept outside; when sick, NO DOCTORS OR MEDS; NO FOOD; NO COMPANIONSHIP; NO LOVE OR KINDNESS!
SIGNED & SHARED to help put this heartless WITCH 👿 behind bars!!!

  2. Animal abusers internationally must have the death penalty implemented.I am ready, willing and able to help perform this procedure!

  3. So depressing. This person must be punished severely, as a deterrent to others, and banned from keeping animals for life.

  4. This cruel abuser needs to be securely chained outside, no shelter for the rest of her sorry life. ANIMAL MUST BE SEVERELY PUNISHED. in my opinion
