Target: Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader
Goal: Stop allowing protestors of any political affiliation to carry firearms.
Something needs to be done to stop the serious violence happening at protests around the country, and it starts with disarming protestors and counter-protestors. No one should need a gun at a peaceful protest, and this includes law enforcement. Just like there are exceptions to open and concealed carry permits for public buildings, there need to be rules against coming to a protest with a deadly weapon.
Far too many people are being hurt at these protests, and it needs to stop. The right to peacefully protest is absolute; the right to bring a deadly weapon in an attempt to create tension and potentially kill someone is not. Sign our petition and demand that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell does something to stop allowing guns to be present at these protests.
PETITION LETTER:
Dear Senator McConnell,
If you really want the violence at these widespread protests to stop, you need to pass a new law that will prevent any protestor or counter-protestor from showing up with a weapon. These rules should apply to law enforcement too, as there is no reason for anyone to be armed with a deadly weapon at a peaceful protests.
Time and time again, peaceful protests are being antagonized by the few people who show up armed, leading to violence and sometimes death. This could absolutely be prevented, and it needs to start with weapons no longer being allowed at all at a protest. Make this change now and save lives.

Hey! You want it? You got it. These protests have never been peaceful. These protest have reverse the process of segregation that was well in place for year. By now no one really know what they are protesting for, they are just out there following each other like cattle braking things and setting fires, being fuel by communist based movements of which leaders never show their face. Do you think Martin Luther King Jr would agree to what you are doing? I don’t think so. He was proud of being a black man which should be an example to many out there who think that by changing laws and destroying history your color will change. It will not happen. American history will remain till the ends of times as black will be black till the ends of times. Learn to respect yourselves.
