Trump: Stop Hiding Recipients of Coronavirus Bailout Funds

Trump - Gage Skidmore

Target: Donald Trump, President of the United States

Goal: Tell the American public which businesses are being bailed out by the taxpayer-funded coronavirus relief package.

The Trump administration is refusing to disclose the recipients of the controversial Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act. Many critics believe that Trump is using the relief package to funnel money to his corporate cronies. While small businesses struggle and fold due to the coronavirus and thousands of workers go without pay, Trump doesn’t seem to think Americans should know who he’s bailing out and who he’s leaving behind.

The government has allocated $2 trillion to go toward coronavirus relief, but has provided very little information as to how that money is being distributed. President Trump has been widely criticized since 2016 for placing the interests of his business allies above those of the American people, and this is no different. Sign below to demand that Trump disclose the recipients of the coronavirus relief package so that American taxpayers can know where their money is going.

Dear President Trump,

The coronavirus has devastated small businesses and workers across the nation. The American people want to see their tax dollars used to provide relief for communities and individuals, not to bail out wealthy corporations.

Your administration has been notorious throughout its existence for nepotism and corruption. Now, you are refusing to disclose the recipients of the taxpayer-funded relief package that should be going to those who need it most. This is a clear attempt to disguise corporate favoritism and outright theft. I demand that you disclose the recipients of the CARES Act relief package so that American taxpayers can know where their money is going.

it’ll be such a long list that no one will bother to do it – that’s high hopes!
