Justice for Trans Woman Stabbed to Death in Harlem

Target: Dermot Shea, New York City Police Commissioner

Goal: Find and prosecute the individual who brutally murdered a black trans woman.

A black trans woman was brutally murdered in a Harlem park. Lexi, as the woman was called by friends, was stabbed to death in a New York City park in the middle of the night. Her attacker remains free. Demand justice for Lexi.

Lexi is the fifth transgender individual to be murdered in the United States this year. Far too often transgender individuals, especially black trans women, are brutally attacked or even murdered. The violent offenders are rarely, if ever, caught. As a sex worker, Lexi faced increased abuse. Ninety percent of trans sex workers report that they have been a victim of violence.

Undoubtedly, Lexi’s race, her profession, and her gender identity all play a role in the slowness of city authorities to act. But Lexi deserves justice. Demand that her murderer be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Dear Commissioner Shea,

Lexi, a black trans woman in Harlem, is the fifth trans American murdered this year. She was left alone to die in an empty park after being stabbed in the neck. Far too often sex workers, especially trans sex workers, fall victim to violence and never see the justice they are due.

Regardless of her race, gender identity, and profession, Lexi deserves justice. She deserves to have the same attention, mourning, and respect as other murder victims in the city. I demand that your devote resources to finding her murderer and ensuring that individual is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

If the thing was playing God by changing its sexual identity, I can’t feel sorry for it. It was obviously born a male, erego, the thing is male.

It may have called itself female, but it was no female, idc how many operations it had to alter itself.

Making itself female doesn’t make it God. It makes it Frankenstein’s monster.
