Justice for Dog Slammed Into Pavement on Video

Target: Timothy Sini, District Attorney of Suffolk County

Goal: Prosecute individual who allegedly tortured a pitbull on video.

A man was filmed slamming his pitbull into the pavement in front of a McDonald’s. The video, taken by a concerned citizen on their cell phone, shows the man grabbing the dog by her collar and dragging her through the fast food restaurant’s parking lot. The dog can be seen flung up into the air as the man drags her over the concrete. In a split-second of horrific footage, the man appears to pull the dog entirely off the ground and slam her into the pavement.

William Anthony Roberts, who admits he is the man in the video, was arrested after the video surfaced. According to Long Island News, he acknowledges that he is the person in shown in the recording and claims that he was only handling Princess, the pitbull in the video, like that to stop her from getting loose and biting someone. Roberts is currently being charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty, but he plans on getting  back custody of Princess. Princess is currently in recovery with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The SPCA has said they plan to file more charges if medical reports show that Princess suffered internal injuries due to her treatment.

Please sign this petition to demand that this case of apparent severe animal cruelty is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Sini,

A video surfaced on the internet showing a man allegedly mistreating a dog in his care. The video depicts a man, identified as William Anthony Roberts, slamming his pet pitbull, named Princess, into the ground. Footage shows Roberts dragging Princess off the ground multiple times by her collar before slamming her into the pavement in front of  a local McDonald’s.

Roberts was arrested after he was identified in the video. He does not deny that he was the man on tape, but insists that his actions were only supposed to stop Princess from getting loose and biting someone. He is currently being charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty in your county, but the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals may demand a harsher charge if Princess is found to have internal injuries. Princess is currently in recovery, but Roberts is insistent on getting her back. I demand that you prosecute this case of alleged animal abuse to the fullest extent of the law.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]

“Only handling Princess” … like Roberts has, does, and will “handle” children, women, and anyone who can’t fight back. We never seem to learn that lenient sentences make these psychopaths bolder. It’s criminal behavior, regardless of the nature of the victim!

  2. SHUT THIS LOW LIFE BASTARD HI DO NOT DESERVE LIVING!!!!!!!!!!!ROTTEN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I fear for this dogs safety if returned to owner or left in shelter! Either way it is not a good situation for this poor pup😭

Why the hell he getting Princess back? What the hell is wrong with the legal system? Victims punished, criminals only a slap on the wrist. Proves it leftist run

    • Why the hell would you drag politics into this? Nobody on the right OR the left want to see abusers like this get their pet back. Laws are made by members of both parties and the failure of state and federal groups to protect animals is a bipartisan issue.

  5. Hell awaits William Roberts. No dogs for this p.o.s now. Kill this animal abuser NOW.

  6. This jerk wasn’t handling this poor dog he was mangling her and it seems like he was enjoying himself too. Psycho’s like this are dangerous to animals and human and he should never be allowed to get a second chance to kill or maim this dog and he should never be allowed to own a pet again. Psycho.

  7. This sorry, pathetic, cruel excuse for a human should be arrested and jailed for animal cruelty.
