PETITION LETTER:

Dear District Attorney Ramos,

A dog was allegedly beaten and abandoned in the middle of a road. Per witnesses, the suspect beat the pit bull after crashing his car and then fled the scene, leaving the dog behind. We demand justice for this innocent dog.

Per witness testimony, the man crashed his car and then pulled a two-year-old pit bull into the street. He reportedly beat the dog and then abandoned him in the middle of the road as he drove away. The man was in a second car crash and sustained serious injuries. A good Samaritan rescued the pit bull, named Eddie by his rescuers, and brought him to the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA. Eddie will remain in protective custody pending the investigation.

This alleged abuse must be punished. We demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.

Sincerely,
